Chelsea Piers is expanding to Jersey City with a planned location at 130 Bay Street. The popular New York City sports facility will be located inside the Arts + Powerhouse Building in Downtown Jersey City and is expected to span 60,000 square feet with a rooftop pool, among other amenities. Dubu Hana | 8 Erie Street
Dubu Hana is coming to 8 Erie Street from the team behind Mökbar, the Korean ramen concept founded by Chef Esther Choi. Mökbar currently has multiple New York City locations, along with an existing New Jersey outpost at Newark’s Gateway Center. Dutch’s Sandwich Shop | 270 Grand Street

Jane’s Matcha is getting a permanent home at 93 Franklin Street. The tea room will focus on the ritual and experience of tea, with matcha beverages hand-whisked to order using traditional tools and ceremonial-grade matcha sourced directly from Japan. Steaks Shakes + Harmony is coming to 143 Newark Avenue in Jersey City, tucked in the back of the former Better Days space. The concept comes from Chef D. Harmon and centers around “real deal cheesesteaks” and milkshakes, with another Jersey City location already open at 126 Christopher Columbus Drive. MENSHO Ramen is opening at 505 Summit Avenue in Journal Square this fall. The Japanese-founded ramen restaurant got its start in Tokyo and has been recognized by the Michelin Guide.
