About Willow House
The recently completed Willow House, located at 1404 Willow Avenue, includes 52 residences, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, plus about 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Monthly rents start in the mid-$4,000s, and the building is currently offering limited-time grand opening incentives of up to two months free. The residences were designed by locally based MVMK Architects and Living Systems, with interiors that include oversized windows, ceilings over nine feet, oak-effect flooring, custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel LG appliances, and in-unit washer + vented dryer setups. Select apartments also include private balconies or terraces.

The building will also have a Penthouse Collection, comprising three-bedroom, three-bathroom residences with larger layouts, spacious kitchens, windowed bathrooms, skylights, and private outdoor space. Two of the penthouse apartments include large terraces, while another includes two balconies. As for amenities, residents will have access to a lobby lounge, gathering spaces, a fitness center, a co-working lounge, a media area, and outdoor spaces including a landscaped rooftop deck with Manhattan views. There will also be a second-floor terrace with seating, firepits, and grilling stations.

Willow House also incorporates sustainable design elements. The building is part of Advance Realty’s larger plans for Hoboken’s North End, which are expected to bring about 1,500 new residences to the area, along with retail, dining, open space, and cultural uses.

Ground-Floor Retail at Willow House
There are three retail locations at 1404 Willow Avenue. Starbucks has been confirmed as one of the tenants, and the second tenant will be CorePower Yoga. CorePower Yoga is a national fitness studio known for yoga classes, heated workouts, and its signature Yoga Sculpt class, which blends yoga flow with strength training and cardio.
The Hoboken Girl first reported on the incoming Starbucks in March 2025. At that time, rumors were circulating that the Starbucks would be a Starbucks Reserve location, which is a roastery and cafe experience.
Other Uptown Hoboken Projects
Other projects in Uptown Hoboken include an incoming brewery from the team behind Schmitty’s, Otok Bakery, and Snack Bar. A new branch of the Hoboken Public Library is slated to go in at 1500 Clinton Street. The Sunoco station at 13th and Willow has been demolished, and the lot is part of a larger redevelopment project.
