Halifax and W Hoboken are turning the waterfront into a Fourth of July destination with several ways to celebrate along the Hudson River. Guests can celebrate the Fourth of July at Halifax in Hoboken with Saturday brunch, a $55 chef-curated prix fixe dinner, then end the evening with cocktails and front-row views of the Hudson River fireworks at W Hoboken’s Living Room Bar. 

Official July 4th Bar Crawl Hoboken Independence Day Bar Crawl LIVE! | Birch Hoboken, 92 River Street

This Independence Day bar crawl will take over Hoboken on Saturday, July 4th from 2PM to 9PM. The event begins at Birch Hoboken and includes a festive red, white, and blue bar crawl experience with drink specials, live DJs, giveaways, and access to participating Hoboken bars. Attendees are encouraged to dress in patriotic attire and make a full afternoon out of it.

The Light Group’s 4th of July Party | Pier A Park, 100 Sinatra Drive

The Light Group’s 4th of July celebration is returning to Pier A Park on Saturday, July 4th from 11AM to 11PM. The free, family-friendly waterfront event will feature live music, local vendors, food, drinks, beer, cocktails, light snacks, and programming for all ages. With Pier A’s Hudson River views, this is a solid all-day option for locals staying in Hoboken before the evening fireworks.

4th of July Stork Club Rooftop Party | Felina Steak, 2 Chapel Avenue

Stork Club Rooftop at Felina Steak is hosting a Fourth of July rooftop party on Saturday, July 4th. Tickets include unlimited wine + beer from NJ Beer Co., BBQ bites, passed lite bites, a live DJ, and views of the Macy’s fireworks. 902 Brewing Co. is hosting a Fourth of July fireworks event on Saturday, July 4th from 7PM to close. Taproom access is free, and the event is dog-friendly, but rooftop access requires a ticket. Rooftop tickets include access to the upstairs viewing area and one drink ticket, with limited availability.

Jersey City Freedom + Fireworks Festival | Exchange Place PATH Plaza

Jersey City’s annual Freedom + Fireworks Festival returns to Exchange Place on Saturday, July 4th. The waterfront festival is expected to include live music, food vendors, local vendors, carnival rides, beer gardens, family-friendly activations, and fireworks over the Hudson River. Jersey City Night Market is producing the festival portion, which will span several blocks downtown.

American Legion Post 18 in Weehawken is hosting America 250 Fireworks + Freedom Fest on Saturday, July 4th from 5PM to 10:30PM. The event is geared toward veterans, families, and friends, with food, a patriotic atmosphere, and fireworks viewing. Tickets range from $25 to $50.

Port Imperial Weehawken 4th of July Cruises | Port Imperial, 4800 Avenue at Port Imperial, Weehawken

NY Waterway is offering several July 4th cruise options from Port Imperial in Weehawken. Experiences include tall ships parade viewing, dinner cruise options, open bar packages, live entertainment, DJ music, and fireworks views from New York Harbor. Boarding for select cruises begins at 6:30PM on Saturday, July 4th.

Secaucus Fireworks | Secaucus Swim Club, 2000 Koelle Boulevard, Secaucus

Secaucus will host its Fourth of July celebration on Wednesday, July 1st at the Secaucus Swim Club. Gates open at 6PM, with food, music by Neil + The Diamonds, and fireworks at dark. Entry is limited to Secaucus residents and their guests, and ID is required.
