A 4th of July Celebration at Pier A Park
Per an Instagram announcement from The Light Group, the Hoboken-based hospitality group is bringing its Pier A 4th of July event back for 2026. The celebration will take place on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, at Pier A Park, located at 100 Sinatra Drive in Hoboken. The community event will run from 11 AM to 11 PM, taking over the waterfront park for a full day of holiday programming. The celebration is designed to be family-friendly, with live music, local vendors, food, drinks, and waterfront views throughout the day.

Last year’s event brought out a fun mix of vendors and pop-ups, and some of The Hoboken Girl team stopped by to check it out. There were customized hats, creative eats, and bites like gourmet nachos, among other local finds. Based on that, this year’s lineup is expected to bring the same kind of easy, all-day waterfront energy that makes Hoboken feel like the place to be on a summer holiday.
While Hoboken always knows how to do a summer weekend, July 4th, 2026, is shaping up to be an especially good one. With the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks happening later that evening, The Light Group’s Pier A celebration makes for a solid pre-fireworks plan right on the waterfront. Locals can spend the day outside, grab food and drinks, listen to live music, browse vendors, and hang by the water before the evening festivities begin. Since the event runs until 11 PM, attendees can make a full day of it without having to leave Hoboken.
