If you’re a foodie enthusiast in Hoboken, it’s well-known that the Mile Square is full of spots to grab a bite – and it looks like another is on the way. Atomic Wings, a New York-based chicken wing chain that has recently expanded to New Jersey, will be opening a new storefront in Hoboken. Signage for it appeared at 410 Washington Street, which was the former location of 7th Street Burger. Read on to learn about Atomic Wings and its new location in Hoboken.
The Details
In August 2025, following the closure of the chicken-finger chain Sticky’s, Hoboken’s 7th Street Burger left its location at 410 Washington Street to move to a new storefront downtown, at 112 Washington Street. Now, Atomic Wings, which is a chicken wing chain based in New York, has signage at the Washington Street location and will be occupying the space in the near future.
Atomic Wings recently announced a plan to open over 20+ new locations in 2026, including six in New Jersey. It is known for its all-natural, antibiotic- and hormone-free chicken and signature sauces, most of which are gluten-free. Atomic Wings can currently be found in twelve U.S. states, including New York, Virginia, Illinois, and Texas. There is no current confirmation on when the Hoboken location will open.
This news follows the recent appearance of signage for OddFellows Ice Cream, which recently opened a location in Montclair, at 53 First Street in Hoboken between Pickle Joy and Artichoke Pizza.
