With more restaurants open + even the potential to have outdoor seating, more and more people will be out and about looking for ways to treat dad this year, whether for brunch, lunch, or dinner. We’ve rounded up some local Hoboken and Jersey City spots to help make dad’s day special. Read on to learn about which restaurants will be open this Father’s Day and some of our top picks.

This adorable little restaurant will have lettered doughnuts for Father’s Day, just like Mother’s Day. Orders can be placed online through the website, which can be found here. The sweet treats are the perfect addition to a to-go salad and wrap picnic situation and make a great dessert for dad.
Ali BaBa {912 Washington Street}
Ali BaBa is best known for its Middle Eastern cuisine and will be serving the community this year. In celebration of dad, Ali BaBa will be offering a free hummus appetizer with the purchase of two entrees this Father’s Day. The beef gyro and the rib-eye steak are two popular dishes. Anthony David’s {953 Bloomfield Avenue}
For those who want to dine at AD’s this weekend, this local spot will be taking reservations for the outdoor cafe and parklets through RESY
Apulia {1319 Washington Street}
There’s no doubt that Apulia has taken the Mile Square by storm, and the wood-burning oven will be fired up, making some of the most authentic pizza outside of Italy this Father’s Day. The cacio e pepe and orecchiette al pomodoro meal kit is a great, hands-on way to DIY a meal at home. But if ordering is preferred, Apulia will be offering items from its regular menu filled with pizzas, pastas, salads, and more.
Augustino’s {1104 Washington Street}
Augustino’s is ready for Father’s Day and will be serving up some of the most loved dishes for dad. On the menu will be local favorites like its Sunday Sauce, Chilean sea bass, and chicken parm, along with a ton of other tantalizing options. Barbés {1300 Park Avenue}
This Moroccan-French restaurant will be offering a $45-prefix menu featuring some of its most beloved dishes. The restaurant will also have live outdoor music, weather permitting. Barbés be open for delivery and pickup available on Sunday.
Bin 14 {1314 Washington Street}
Nothing screams celebration like a good class of vino. For those who want to dine at Bin 14 this weekend, this local spot will be taking reservations for the outdoor cafe and parklets through RESY
Blue Eyes {525 Sinatra Drive}
Pizza is on the menu at this waterfront restaurant for Father’s Day. The restaurant will offer its regular menu for pickup. In addition to pizza and other menu items, there will be make-your-own pizza kits and gelato available. Orders can be placed online or by calling the restaurant.
Brass Rail {135 Washington Street}
Brass Rail will be offering brunch and dinner on Father’s Day. The restaurant will be open from 11:00AM-10:00PM, offering brunch until 3:00PM. Also available for purchase will be different whiskeys and to-go drinks from the outdoor bar.
Cafe Michelina {423 Bloomfield Avenue}
For classic Italian food, Cafe Michelina is the place to go. The restaurant will have quite a few specials for dad including, meat lasagna, gnocchi vodka with burrata, chicken prosciutto, rigatoni alla burrata, gnocchi in a pesto sauce, and tits infamous stuffed rigatoni with chicken. Green Pear Café {93 Grand Street}
Treat dad with Green Pear Café’s brunch menu, which includes an entree choice of lamb kebab sandwich, potato and cheese pierogi, or chicken skewers with vegetables and dessert choice of crepe, fruit salad, or coffee/OJ. This two-course menu is priced at $20 per person. The café will offer free delivery in the area on orders over $100.
Grimaldi’s {411 Washington Street}
The popular menu at Grimaldi’s will be available for pickup and deliveries on Father’s Day from 5:00PM until 10:00PM on June 21st. While Grimaldi’s is best known for its pizza, be sure to also pick up an order of its famous meatballs, too! Orders can be placed online through the website or by calling the restaurant.
Harry’s Daughter {339 Communipaw Avenue}
Harry’s Daughter has been open for delivery throughout the pandemic and has recently reopened for outdoor dining. Whether you’re looking to have a meal together at home or are ready to alfresco dine, Harry’s Daughter has you covered this Father’s Day.
Hudson Table {1403 Clinton Street}
BBQ seems to be the trend here in Hoboken and Hudson Table is offering a full-on feast! Each mal kit is intended to provide four servings and includes {fully cooked or grill ready} marinated flank steak with charred cherry tomato and vinaigrette and chimichurri, four grilled shrimp skewers with Bloody Mary cocktail sauce, one pound of Dad’s Pulled Pork with pickled onions, crispy Hasselback potatoes with spring onion compound butter and parmesan, Caprese panzanella salad with rustic croutons, fresh mutz, Jersey tomatoes, torn basil, cucumber, arugula, and balsamic, and a Boston cream pie to top it off. La Bouche {207 Washington Street}
This French-inspired café will be open on Father’s Day serving from its special takeout menu for breakfast and lunch. Croque Madames and crepes are on the breakfast menu as are a variety of sandwiches and burgers. Please place all orders online here.
Losurdo’s {410 2nd Street}
This local deli will be open and ready to serve on Father’s Day. We are most excited about the sfogliatelle and cannolis! Don’t worry, Losurdo’s will also have their homemade bocconcini {mozzarella} available as well as the rest of the menu.
Otto Strada {743 Park Avenue}
The team at Otto Strada will have a prix-fixe menu for pickup and delivery only. This three-course menu will include a primi, secondi, and a dolci. Choose between these savory and sweet menu items for a sophisticated meal on Father’s Day. For $50 per person {+ tax and delivery}. Pre-orders can be placed by phone up until June 20th.
Pilsner Haus + Biergarten {1422 Grand Street}
This year for Father’s Day, dad’s first drink is on the haus. This Hoboken staple will be offering its full Austro Hungarian menu available for pickup and delivery. From brats to Bavarian pretzels, to schnitzels and so much more, Pilsner Haus will be fired up this Sunday. Also available are biers, cocktails, and other drinks to go!
The Shepherd and the Knucklehead {1313 Willow Avenue}
The full menu will be available at The Shep this Sunday for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Get ready for Taylor ham, egg, + cheese French toast, Buffalo chicken spring rolls, and fried chicken tacos are on the horizon. The restaurant will be open for brunch from 11:00AM until 3:00PM and dinner from until 10:00PM for pickup and delivery.
Sorellina {1036 Washington Street}
Sorellina will be serving up a sausage and pepper meal kit, complete with homemade sausage, peppers, onions, marinara, and rolls. The bar will also have drink packs for dad including Hoboken Beer and cocktail kits with, local favorite, Misunderstood Ginger Whiskey. Please place orders online.
The Stewed Cow {400 Adams Street}
Everyone’s favorite neighborhood bar will be open for outdoor dining, pickup, and delivery on Father’s Day from 11:00AM-9:00PM. 8th Street Tavern {800 Washington Street}
There’s nothing like the food at 8th Street Tavern and for Father’s Day this year, the restaurant will be offering its full menu, complete with burgers, sandwiches, carnita tacos, and 75 cent wings. Dad will love a meal from this mid-century bar.

Broa Cafe {297 Grove Street}
Similarly to what Broa did for Mother’s Day, the Portuguese restaurant will be offering its menu with free delivery on all orders over $100. Also available are Father’s Day Portuguese Gift Boxes, which include an assortment of Portuguese goodies such as olive oil, canned sardines, chocolates, port wine, and other items. The grills will be fired up this Sunday with finger-lickin’ brunch to celebrate Father’s Day. The restaurant will be serving up everything from huevos rancheros to breakfast burritos from 11:00AM until 4:00PM. Hudson Hall {364 Marin Boulevard}
We can’t wait until we can watch the games with the windows and doors open but for now, Hudson Hall will be offering brunch, curbside pickup, and to go cocktails for Father’s Day. Treat dad to pastrami + eggs or a big Belgian waffle. The restaurant will be open from 11:00AM until 4:00PM this Sunday.
Jerkin Chicken {234 West Side Avenue}

This women-owned business made famous by the New York Times will be pulling out all of the bells and whistles this Sunday. Bangladeshi cuisine is not easy to come by in the area but Korai Kitchen is a must-try.
