Fitness Factory recently replaced Retro Fitness at 130 Washington Street. This new gym has a wide variety of strength and cardio workout equipment and services that cater to all fitness levels. Fitness Factory currently has three other Hudson County locations in Jersey City (525 Washington Boulevard), West New York (6209 Bergenline Avenue), and Edgewater (521 River Road).

This fitness studio has a variety of services tailored to fit individual needs including group mat classes, springboard classes, duet sessions, and private sessions. Owner, Kenneth Montes de Oca says, “We’re all about creating a safe and inclusive space where you can feel comfortable and confident no matter who you are.”

Physique 57 | 104 Hudson Street

Physique 57 is an international barre fitness program that specializes in low-impact, high-intensity barre workouts. Its Hoboken location recently celebrated a reopening under new ownership. Physique 57 has different class formats including core lab, power sculpt lab, HIIT, pilates, dance cardio, recovery, and prenatal. Private training sessions are also available. Each class is structured differently to keep things interesting and instructors curate their playlists which allow their personalities to shine.

Classes include group reformer, tower, mat, and prenatal. The studio boasts state-of-the-art equipment from Balanced Body, including the EXO Chair, which is a piece of pilates equipment that challenges strength and control while enhancing stability.

PUSH is a prenatal + postnatal fitness and functional training studio that focuses on women’s health, wellness, and fitness. Emily Claman opened the studio in June 2023. In addition to studio classes, PUSH has virtual classes to be accessible to every woman, everywhere. Programs and workshops are also available and specifically designed for women throughout their entire pregnancy and postpartum journeys. The studio also welcomes clients who are not prenatal or postnatal.

YogaRenew is a beautiful yoga studio located directly across the street from the Hoboken PATH Train Station. It specializes in vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, sound baths, hatha, and prenatal yoga.
