Yoga Classes + Teacher Training
YogaRenew has a full schedule of daily classes including Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Breathwork, Iyengar Yoga, Sound Meditation, + Restorative Workshops for all levels. Upcoming workshops are listed on the YogaRenew website and cover a variety of yoga-related topics.
The fusion Yin Yoga + Sound Bath class that is held 4 times a week is one of the most popular classes on the schedule. This slow + steady practice gives students a chance to meditate and restore with a live crystal singing bowl + gong sound meditation at the end of class that will make you forget you’re in the heart of downtown.
Plus, the space hosts world-renowned yoga teachers regularly. There’s an upcoming Mobility Meets Asana Workshop with Alo Yoga Instructor, Carling Harps, on April 12th-April 14th. This immersive weekend-long training will cover the connection between mobility + yoga and includes a 3-day in-person yoga intensive along with 6-month access to a digital course.
All of the classes are taught by expert teachers who have been trained at the highest Yoga Alliance-recognized level (E-RYT 500). Many yoga teachers are continuing their education further while also leading yoga practices.
YogaRenew’s unique approach has made teacher training accessible to thousands of people. The internationally recognized 200- + 300-hour teacher trainings are available virtually + in person which means they are accessible to anyone who wants to prepare to teach or wants to experience a personal transformation.
Prenatal Yoga classes are taught by expert teachers who are also moms. The classes are designed to help moms-to-be find community, learn about changes in their bodies, + relax. These classes are taught 4 times a week + are a special place for local parents to build friendships.
Accessible + Approachable Yoga for Everyone
YogaRenew bridges the gap between yoga “gurus” and the everyday student. All of the teachers are passionate about making yoga approachable + accessible for everyone.
Everyone should be able to learn to breathe + sit tall which is why YogaRenew has a monthly membership of $99/month for unlimited classes. Patrick, Kate, + the rest of the YogaRenew team have a unique way of sequencing the yoga classes so students grow exponentially regardless of how many classes they take a week.
All students are encouraged to explore the mind-body relationship + discover new ways of existing in their bodies + in the world.
“Our goal is to help every student — from beginner to advanced — find ways to grow,” said Patrick.
All About YogaRenew
YogaRenew opened its first physical studio in Hoboken last year as a space for people to relax + connect with like-minded people. The studio has heated floors, a comfortable rotunda with plenty of seating, large windows for natural light, + complimentary tea.
The studio headquarters is about to celebrate its first anniversary, but YogaRenew has been around for almost 7 years — beginning as an exclusively online company in 2017. Yoga Directors Patrick Franco and Kate Lombardo, who have a collective 25 years of experience teaching yoga in the Hoboken + NYC areas, joined as co-founders in 2020, growing and establishing the brand as an international teacher training company with local roots here in Hoboken.
“We are amazed by the response YogaRenew has received and are lucky to say that we have helped over 75,000 yogis become certified teacher trainers,” Patrick told The Hoboken Girl.
Yoga classes, workshops, + teacher training are available in person. All are welcome to take a class + experience yoga’s life-changing power that can happen both on + off the mat.
