Person of the year: Dylan Zajac of Computers 4 People is our Hoboken 2023 Person of the Year!
Computers 4 People was started by Hoboken resident Dylan Zajac, who became aware of extreme discrepancies in technology access at a young age (15, to be exact). The organization refurbishes used or old computers (e-waste) and donates them to people and communities in need. To date, Computers 4 People has donated over 2,000 computers, reused over 21,700 pounds of e-waste, and provided over 1.1 million hours of internet to under-resourced communities in New Jersey and New York City. Most recently, Dylan appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show to talk about this amazing initiative. For this, Dylan Zajac of Computers 4 People is our Hoboken 2023 Person of the Year!

Person of the year: Sherry Singh, Founder and Executive Director of Whole Spectrum Autism, is our Jersey City 2023 Person of the Year!
The mission of Whole Spectrum Autism is to facilitate community engagement and be a voice for families whose loved ones are on the spectrum. The non-profit encourages autism acceptance by hosting family-friendly, inclusive events throughout the year — including its annual Autism Acceptance Gala, which is in its 8th year. Sherry founded Whole Spectrum Autism over 25 years ago, and has a special connection to this cause — her son, Ravi, is an adult living with severe autism. She has made it her lifelong mission to change the system so that families can have the support they need with their aged-out adult children with autism. For this, Sherry Singh of Whole Spectrum Autism is our Jersey City 2023 Person of the Year!
