You can find Stretch Recovery Lounge’s newest location in Hoboken at 223 Bloomfield Street, Suite 101. The stretching facility announced the opening via Instagram on March 6th, 2023 — where the opening date of Friday, March 10th was announced. The manager of the Hoboken location, Kiara, also introduced herself to the neighborhood in the video. The opening marks the brand’s 5th New Jersey location.
From Rugby to Entrepreneur: Stretch Recovery’s Founder
Stretch Recovery Lounge was founded in 2019 by Jake Feury, who is a current wing, center, and fullback for the MLR’s Rugby United of New York. Jake himself battled horrible back pain for years after suffering multiple fractures to his vertebrae. The saving grace for Jake ended up being stretch therapy, and this epiphany fueled him to think up and open Stretch Recovery Lounge’s first location in Ridgewood, according to Business Wire.

“By providing more flexibility, particularly in my lower body, I was finally able to move the way I needed to, without pain, for the first time in months,” Jake told Business Wire.
Since his founding in 2019, Jake has expanded his business to Tenafly, Westfield, Montclair, and now the Mile Square.
