Nothing beats going out with your friends and ordering a killer martini — after all, there’s a reason it’s one of the most popular cocktails in the world. The clean profile of the vodka makes for the perfect base to add any flavor. Lucky for us, Hoboken and Jersey City have quite a list of places where you can find the perfect martini for your taste. Dirty, shaken, stirred, espresso — they’re all here. Read on for a guide to the best martinis in Hoboken and Jersey City.

Hoboken

10th + Willow | 935 Willow Avenue

best cocktail bar 10th and willow

10th + Willow is an ideal spot for a cucumber martini nightcap (or a spot to get the night started if you’re a late bloomer). This long-standing bar/restaurant is known for its martinis and buffalo shrimp (together or separately), and is a great spot to dance the night away — depending on the night, if that’s your thing.

Augustino’s | 1104 Washington Street

Augustino’s is known around town as a highly-coveted dining spot — partially because it’s tough to get a table (it’s tiny inside) but also because the food is so delicious. The martinis here are just as good as the food. We also highly, highly recommend finishing off the meal with some ice box pie.

Hobbs Inc

Antique Bar + Bakery | 122 Willow Avenue

Antique Bar + Bakery is a true Hoboken gem. The eatery is known for amazing dishes like steaks and fish that come right out of the woodfired oven. The vibes are cool, and the cocktails are yummy. Sipping on a martini at this spot on a Saturday night is always the right move. Reservations are hard to come by, so book ahead.
