Since these cocktails have been in high-demand, we’ve decided to {happily} do the research and round up the best spots to order an espresso martini in Hoboken and Jersey City. Keep reading for the guide, and don’t *sleep* on these espresso martinis {pun intended}.

Hoboken

Barbès {1300 Park Avenue}

A French and Morrocan-inspired restaurant with unique dishes, plus truly tasty beverages. The bartenders at Barbès are excellent at providing an individual twist on each classic cocktail {including the espresso martini}. Do yourself a favor next time you stop in and try this martini.

Belo Bar {104 Hudson Street}

Manhattan-style decor and comedy nights, Belo Bar is the perfect atmosphere to sip on an espresso martini. Belo Bar’s take on the espresso martini is exactly what you need to start your weekend {or end it – we love a good Sunday Funday}

Court Street {61 6th Street}

Dino + Harry’s {163 14th Street}

A classic Hoboken gem that specializes in wine and epic cocktails – including the espresso martinis. Aside from the old-school style decor {and the premium steaks, of course} Dino + Harry’s is a bucket list stop for local residents and visitors. And if you’re keeping a bucket list for espresso martinis, this spot should be on it.

You can’t go wrong with this French-inspired restaurant. Whether you’re sitting in the charming outdoor area, or inside around 1895-saloon décor – both the cocktails and food are on point. And yes, we agree it sounds like a perfect combo for a girl’s night out or date night.

A local favorite for all things cocktails. Come for the chic and cozy ambiance, stay for the espresso martinis. These martinis do not disappoint and pair great with either brunch or dinner. And if you change your mind, the wine bar’s menu is pretty extensive.

Hudson Tavern {51 14th Street}

An underrated spot in the Mile Square {especially when it comes to cocktails}. Hudson Tavern, an uptown gem, has a large dining area where you can enjoy an espresso martini. You can expect dark wood-accented decor, American eats – and you’ll be pleasantly surprised with how tasty the espresso martinis are. Il Tavolo di Palmisano {700 Clinton Street}

Authentic, Italian family recipes with a modern spin on not only the food – but also the cocktails. Il Tavolo di Palmisano’s espresso martinis are next level. They are perfectly prepared and hit the spot for that espresso craving.

Margherita’s {740 Washington Street}

Relatively new to the brunch scene, Margherita’s is not only serving up authentic Italian dishes – but also fun and creative espresso martinis. With a hint of vanilla, this is the perfect drink to pair with your brunch, lunch, or dinner at this Washington Street spot.

This gorgeous Newport restaurant has an absolutely stunning food and drink menu. Add in a flavorful espresso martini, and you have yourself a perfect date night spot or place to gather with friends. Side note: don’t sleep on Fire + Oak’s brunch — it’s truly out of this world.
