Ah, espresso martinis. The drink of the season and a current go-to order for many when visiting local spots. Since these cocktails have been in high-demand, we’ve decided to {happily} do the research and round up the best spots to order an espresso martini in Hoboken and Jersey City. Keep reading for the guide, and don’t *sleep* on these espresso martinis (pun intended). 


Barbès | 1300 Park Avenue

A French and Morrocan-inspired restaurant with unique dishes, plus truly tasty beverages. The bartenders at Barbès are excellent at providing an individual twist on each classic cocktail {including the espresso martini}. Do yourself a favor next time you stop in and try this martini.

Dullboy | 364 Grove Street

Espresso martinis made with fresh brewed Modcup coffee {a local Jersey City coffee company}. If you’ve ever been to Dullboy, you know the cocktails are no joke – and the espresso martinis are no different. 

Fire + Oak | 479 Washington Boulevard

This gorgeous Newport restaurant has an absolutely stunning food and drink menu. Add in a flavorful espresso martini, and you have yourself a perfect date night spot or place to gather with friends. Side note: don’t sleep on Fire + Oak’s brunch — it’s truly out of this world.

RoofTop at Exchange Place | 1 Exchange Place

The espresso martini, known here as the Dusk 2 Dawn, is served with Don Julio Blanco, simple syrup, Averna Amaro, cold brew coffee, and mole bitters.
