The bar program offers something for everyone. Peruse the drink menu and you’ll notice craft cocktails, wine, beer, tea, coffee, and non-alcoholic drinks. Looking for a new happy hour spot? Hamilton Inn runs discounts on beer, wine, margs, and martinis Monday through Friday from 2PM-6PM. On Wednesday nights from 4PM-10PM. all specialty cocktails are just $10 — and yes, the menu includes one of the best espresso martinis in town.

The Vibe

Hamilton Inn is located on the ground floor of a historic residential red brick building. Despite the picture of Alexander Hamilton hanging outside the restaurant, the interior is not themed to the American Revolution or iconic Broadway show. It’s a welcoming neighborhood pub with friendly staff and a rustic vibe complete with exposed brick and a wood-paneled bar.

Hoboken Girl recently went for Sunday brunch at 10:30AM. We made a reservation but the restaurant didn’t start filling up until a bit after 11AM. We didn’t feel rushed and had plenty of time to relax with a cup of coffee and chat over our meal. It’s the kind of brunch spot where you could roll up in leggings and a sweatshirt or get dressed up if you felt like it.

Camp Hamilton

Hamilton Inn has a backyard area complete with an airstream, picnic tables, fire pits, and string lights and camp is in session when the weather is nice. Camp Hamilton, as they call it, has slightly different hours from the main restaurant so check the website or Instagram to make sure it’s open.

This cozy spot serves the full menu, happy hour, and brunch and we’re ready to be a regular Hamilton Inn camper once the weather gets a bit warmer.

Our Thoughts

Hamilton Inn is a neighborhood hotspot for a reason. It has been a Hoboken Girl go-to for a while and is a reliable place to bring parents or out-of-town guests — not to mention we love meeting up with friends here for a weekend brunch. We recently enjoyed the Greek Omelette ($19) and it was perfect — a little crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of spinach, cherry tomatoes, and feta. If you’ve never been to Hamilton Inn we highly recommend checking it out ASAP.
