The Laugh Tour Comedy Club located inside Dorrian’s Red Hand at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City has four shows this weekend on Friday, October 6th at 7:30PM and 9:45PM and Saturday, October 7th at 6:30PM and 9:00PM. All shows are hosted by comedian Rich Kiamco and will feature comedians from NYCD, Tiny Cupboard, CBS, Comedy Central, Boston Comedy Festival, NY Comedy Club, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Sirius XM, Stand Up NY, and Jersey City Comedy Festival. Show tickets $25 for all shows plus a 2-item minimum per person (food or drink with 20% gratuity automatically added).

Open House at Saddle River Day School

Saddle River Day School, located at 147 Chestnut Ridge Road in Saddle River, is an independent, coeducational day school inspiring students from Preschool (age three) through Grade 12 to think, solve, and achieve — in academics and life. The school is hosting an open house event on Saturday, October 14th starting at 10:00AM followed by the school’s Fall Festival and Homecoming BBQ from 12:00PM-4:00PM. Prospective students and families can tour the campus, learn more about the school’s academics and signature programs, while enjoying delicious food and meeting current faculty members, as well as other SDRS families. Plus, prospective students can also sign up to visit the school and become a Saddle River Rebel for the day — students will see classes with a student ambassador, have lunch with Chef Mark, and see why other students love SRDS. The 6th Annual Pitness in the Park is happening on Saturday, October 21st from 11:00AM-4:00PM at Hamilton Park in downtown Jersey City featuring local vendors, fitness classes, pet portraits, a leash clinic, raffles, and more. The fundraising event helps promote Pitbull awareness and raises funds for local rescues and is 100% donation and volunteer based with all proceeds being donated directly to Jersey Pits Rescue. The Saturday event is dog-friendly — all dogs that attend must be dog + people-friendly.
