Kotofit Sports To Open Indoor Pickleball, Badminton Facility in Jersey City

This Saturday, Kotofit, an indoor sports facility that has badminton, pickleball and ping pong for all ages and skill levels, is opening its second location at 189 Brunswick Street in Jersey City. The new facility will be open seven days a week from 7:00AM to 10:00PM with hourly rates for pay-per-play customers and free racquet/paddle usage. HDSID’s Halloween Family Bash is Back on 10/31

HDSID is hosting its annual Halloween Family Bash this Tuesday, October 31st from 3:00PM-8:00PM at the Newark Avenue Pedestrian Mall and Plaza in Jersey City. The Halloween event will take place rain or shine featuring a number of different events and activations including a mechanical pumpkin ride, corn maze, as well as face painting and a bouncy house for the little ones, and Halloween candy + treats. There will also be live music and a DJ throughout the afternoon, as well as a sensory-friendly zone on First Street hosted by Whole Spectrum Autism for those who prefer a less stimulating environment to celebrate Halloween.

The Hoboken Girl Period Supplies Drive 2023
We have partnered with The Flow Initiative to create Project Local Access, a drive for period supplies to distribute to those in need and the community at large. After successful drives in 2021 + 2022 — that collected over 60,000 supplies — Hoboken Girl and The Flow Initiative have set a goal to donate period supplies to at least one school or community center in all 11 towns that make up Hudson County this year. That means reaching last year’s number of 30,000 supplies or more. To make this happen, local businesses throughout Hudson County are coming together to be drop-off spots for period supplies.
