Artichoke’s authentic New York slices and larger-than-life whole pies come in eight varieties, including signature styles like the namesake Artichoke Pie that’s made with artichoke hearts, spinach, cream sauce, mozzarella, and pecorino romano cheese. Another is the Sicilian-style pie – made with olive oil, plum tomato, fresh basil, a blend of cheeses, then twice baked to perfection in a pan. With both a Hoboken and a soon-to-open Jersey City location in place, you’re never far from a good Sicilian slice in Hudson County.

A Southwest Hoboken gem, Hot House Pizza has been serving hot, fresh pizza since 2014. Some of the staples on the menu consist of house-baked wings, sandwiches (made with fresh bread from Dom’s Bakery, BTW!), and of course, the Sicilian square pie. Some Hoboken residents would argue you need to try the Sicilian before you even try a regular slice – it’s that good! And, the backyard garden is a little hidden oasis.
