Bortone created a wearable lovey blanket designed to help soothe a baby to sleep. The attached lovey helps keep your baby secure, and her design just won a Mom’s Choice Gold Award. Owners Donovan and Elizabeth Cain originally founded Hound About Town but expanded to expectant parents and children when they were preparing for the birth of their first child. Hazel Baby & Kids was named after Elizabeth’s great-grandmother, and the store offers products made in a socially responsible, environmentally friendly, and sustainable way, whether it be toys, clothing, accessories, or nursery items.

The conceptual retail experience offers an interactive store for men, women, and children, and the entire space makes you feel as though you’re going through an airport. Children’s clothing comes and goes on a rotating basis, just like arrivals and departures at an airport.
