Lola’s | 153 14th Street
Lola’s is a Spanish tapas bar open late on weekends. Couples can reserve the private party room + wine cellar which has a private bar. This is a good after-party option for uptown celebrants.
Shake Shack | 111 Washington Street Suite 101, Hoboken + 318 Grove Street, Jersey City
Shake Shack is a one-of-a-kind after-party venue with a location in Hoboken + Jersey City.
“For our fun couples whose dream after-party involves burgers and buckets of beer, we recommend Shake Shack in Hoboken. It closes at 11:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays so you need to call in a special request to see if they’ll extend their hours. Since it’s BYO, have your planner or wedding party coordinate the booze, grab your Bluetooth speaker, and get ready to chow down on crinkle fries well into the night,” Kristen said.
A marketing manager from Shake Shack confirmed that couples can buy out Shake Shack for wedding after-parties and, with enough time to prepare, certain events can take place after normal business hours within reason.

Dorrian’s Red Hand | 555 Washington Boulevard

“A great casual spot for low-key drinks, couples can make it more formal by reserving the space or simply showing up the night of,” Jacquelyn said.
Couples can arrange for a cash bar at the after-party + a selection of light food options are available on Friday and Saturday from 11PM – 1:30AM. On other nights after 10PM, outside food can be ordered to be delivered to the after-party.
Fire + Oak | 479 Washington Boulevard

Hudson Hall is a large beer hall-style sports bar that stays open until 1AM on Friday + Saturday nights. Anyone getting married in downtown Jersey City at venues like The Ashford, Lokal, or RoofTop at Exchange Place could consider Hudson Hall for an after-party.
Jacquelyn said it is a “great low-key BBQ spot for a smaller group, right in downtown Jersey City.”
Irving Public | 1135 Summit Avenue
Irving Public is a sports bar in Jersey City Heights that stays open until 3AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
“The bar has tons of character, a killer craft beer selection, great cocktails, and a friendly staff. They will almost always accommodate a couple of reserved tables (especially if you’re a Jets fan!), making it a go-to for smaller groups. If you’re looking for a casual and fun vibe post-reception, this is the spot for you! Reach out to them a few weeks in advance,” Kristen said.
Los Cuernos | 99 Washington Boulevard
Los Cuernos is a Mexican restaurant in Newport that is a good after-party option for anyone getting married at Battello or The Westin.
This is “a great spot for what we have been told are the best margaritas,” Aleece said. “Also an extremely close, easy walk to the hotels in the Newport area of Jersey City.”
Pet Shop | 193 Newark Avenue
Pet Shop is a beloved neighborhood bar in downtown Jersey City that hosts weddings and wedding after-parties. The menu features creative vegetarian dishes, beer, wine, + classic cocktails. Porta | 135 Newark Avenue
Porta is a late-night hub in downtown Jersey City with a rooftop that provides impressive views. On Friday and Saturday, Porta stays open until 2AM and could be a good option for a post-wedding nightcap after celebrating at The Sophia Rooftop or another downtown venue.
Porta takes reservations for up to 18 people. For larger after-parties, consider contacting the event concierge to book a private event. Porta also serves as a wedding venue for couples who want to celebrate their big day with plenty of pizza.

Zeppelin Hall | 88 Liberty View Drive
Zeppelin Hall is a large beer garden with plenty of indoor + outdoor tables making it a great option for large groups. This is a convenient after-party spot for weddings in Liberty Science Center, Liberty House, or Maritime Parc.
According to Jacquelyn, “Zeppelin Hall is a huge Biergarten that stays open until almost 3 AM on certain days! A good fit for those that want to hang out into the early morning.”
