The Hoboken Girl Breakfast Sandwich at Alessio’s Cafe | 539 Park Avenue, Hoboken + 99 Franklin Street, Jersey City

In March 2024, Alessio’s Cafe collaborated with the Hoboken Girl team for the debut of our very own Hoboken Girl Breakfast Sandwich to highlight York Street Project, a Jersey City non-profit combating poverty in the area. The sandwich is made with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, avocado, homemade crispy hashbrowns (gluten-free), and jalapeno + avocado aioli, and it can be served on sourdough bread or a wrap. The bread or wrap can be substituted to be gluten-free. We may be biased, but can confirm that it’s delicious. Alessio’s also recommends adding breakfast sausage or bacon to the sandwich. The sandwich was originally going to be a brief pop-up option, but HG and Alessio’s decided to make the sandwich a permanent menu item, with a new local charity partner each quarter.
