What the Hoboken Girl Team is Thankful For

Written by:

We here at Team HG, we’re thankful for a lot of things. From our awesome readers to the great team that we work with, there is a  lot for us to be thankful for. Of course, however, we wouldn’t be here without the multitude of local businesses in the area that support us and vice versa. This year, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of the hardworking businesses in the area that help keep our community up and running. Keep reading to discover what Team HG is thankful for this year.

“This year, I’m super thankful for our amazing community, our readers, family + friends, and of course, Black Rail Coffee and Subia’s Vegan Cafe.

Devin, Marketing Associate

Im thankful for Tenth Street  Pasta + Pizza. I love going there when I don’t feel like cooking for the night or grabbing a meal with family or friends. It’s great Italian food and pizza and it’s BYOB!”

Morgan, Marketing Writer + Editor

“I’m thankful for Hudson Yoga Project for the great community that they have put together, as well as The V Spot Nail Spa where I get fabulous manicures, pedicures, and great conversations.”

Arielle, Editorial Assistant

“This year, I’m thankful for the seriously cool and amazing baristas at Bean Vault Coffee. Those girls work so hard, are always kind, always know my order when I come in {which is great}, and are the highlight of my day whenever I stop by!”

Steph, Contributing Writer

“I am thankful AF for Napoli’s — their individual Margherita pizza pie is my favorite of all-time.”

Jordan and Joelle, Contributing Writers + Volunteer Coordinators

“We are so thankful for the fact that everyone here in Hudson County is so willing to give back, making our lives as volunteer coordinators just a little easier. And we’re thankful for Greek sandwiches and macaroni salad from JP’s Bagels.

tenthstreet pasta pizza

“Im thankful for Tenth Street Pizza + Pasta, which forever changed me from team round to team square. The square pie with housemade mozzarella, sausage, and peppers is the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. I burn my mouth every time, but it’s worth it!”

Ainsley, Contributing Writer

“I’m thankful for the amazingly creative space at Little Play Co. where my toddler can explore and use his imagination.”

Nadine, Contributing Writer

“I’m thankful for The Bar Method Hoboken for having the best instructors and community. It’s my favorite way to start the day and stay active during the holidays!”

Chloe, Contributing Writer

base gym jersey city

“I’m thankful for Base keeping me honest about my commitment to working out. Their witty street marketing called me out for ghosting the gym and it was true. Plus, I love variety in my workout and they are always updating their machines and bringing new classes to the schedule {most recently a TRX class}.”

Ashley, Contributing Writer

“This Thanksgiving I’m most thankful for Court Street because after a long workday or a long flight, they have the friendliest staff, the best and coldest wine, and the atmosphere is perfect for unwinding. Thanks, Court Street!”

Evelyn, Contributing Writer

“This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for a wonderful family, great friends, my amazing and supportive neighbors and community. I am thankful for all of you and for all the dogs in my life.”
