It’s the holiday season in Hudson County and what better way to celebrate than by bringing the whole family to a local restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. You can enjoy all of the delicious food without the hassle of cooking + cleaning up, and it’s close to home. Reserve a table for your loved ones or even a private room at some of these local spots. Vepo Clean

 An uptown Hoboken favorite, Amanda’s is serving Thanksgiving dinner to residents again this year. Guests will enjoy a three-course menu, with appetizers like carrot + pumpkin soup or seared Nantucket scallops. The main course includes options like oven-roasted turkey, Moroccan-spiced cauliflower, sea bass, or petite filet. Dessert is pumpkin cheesecake, flour-less chocolate cake, cappuccino panna cotta, or poached Washington pear.

JK Therapy

Hobbs Inc

The Brass Rail {135 Washington Street}

For just $39 per person, The Brass Rail in Hoboken is offering a three-course meal on Thanksgiving Day at 1:00PM that includes fresh focaccia bread for the table, and your choice of soda, coffee, or tea. The restaurant also provides catering for the holiday.

As a Hoboken landmark restaurant, it’s only fitting that residents are welcomed for the holiday. The Turkey Day menu includes first course dishes like parmesan risotto, pumpkin + baby kale salad, or roasted pumpkin with burrata. The second course is a roasted turkey dinner, salmon, filet mignon, short ribs, or roasted scallops. Del Frisco’s Grille {221 River Street} 

On the corner of 2nd and Sinatra, Del Frisco’s Grille is a modern restaurant with American fare and locations across the country. They are most famous for their steak dishes and creative lunch specials.

The spot has been open for Thanksgiving the past few years, serving entrees like herb + citrus butter-roasted turkey and honey Dijon pork tenderloin. Of course, no Turkey Day meal is complete without mashed potatoes + gravy, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. The menu isn’t a fixed price, so enjoy as much or as little as you’d like.

Del Frisco’s has all the Thanksgiving Day favorites {and even gluten-free and vegetarian options, too} so make a reservation now. Reserve a table or even a private dining room for your whole family.

Halifax {225 River Street}

Well-known for its boozy brunch and elegant dinners, Halifax will be open on Thanksgiving Day offering a $55 per person menu and $20 house red or white wine bottles.

Each guest will receive an appetizer with choices of beet salad, celery root apple soup, pear tart, or turkey confit fritters. Entrée choices include stuffed turkey breast, squash ravioli, boneless pork chop, or blue cod. In addition, sides and desserts are served family-style at the table. Sides are pumpkin mascarpone orzo, brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, or garlic creamed kale. Dessert is a mini-tasting of butternut squash cake, apple pie, butter pecan tart, chocolate pot de crème, and vanilla ice cream.

Mario’s is a  local Hoboken-based spot serving the entire community this Thanksgiving. As the spot does every year, join Mario’s as the restaurant hosts and everyone on Turkey Day for a special meal. No reservations needed, just show up and enjoy.

Jersey City

Fire & Oak {479 Washington Boulevard}

The Westin Newport in Jersey City is home to American grill Fire & Oak. Opened in 2009, the restaurant has been serving a turkey dinner with all the fixin’s on Thanksgiving Day for several years now. Enjoy traditional holiday eats for $25 per person as well as their regular menu on Thanksgiving Day.

Satis Bistro {212 Washington Street}

In downtown Jersey City, Satis Bistro will offer a three-course Thanksgiving dinner h for $40 per person. Satis Bistro’s regular menu will also be available.

The first course is a baby watercress salad with radish, camembert cheese, and cider vinaigrette. For the second course, enjoy roasted turkey, white sweet potato puree, and herb stuffing. Top it all off with a butternut squash brownie and whipped mascarpone for dessert.

For Thanksgiving with a southern twist, try South House in downtown Jersey City at 4:00PM, 6:00PM, or 8:00PM seatings. It’s $35 per person for a three-course turkey dinner complete with a glass of wine or beer.

Each guest receives a butternut squash soup and South House salad with sweet potatoes, pecans, and a balsamic orange Dijon dressing. The second course consists of turkey {duh!} with six family-style sides including mac ‘n’ cheese, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, and more. Dessert is a difficult choice between pumpkin pie, pecan pie, or chocolate bread pudding.

The four-course meal starts with a Cream of Amish turkey soup, and then a romaine, radicchio, and arugula salad with a blue cheese + champagne vinaigrette. The main course is oven-roasted turkey, stuffing, Brussel sprouts, and sweet potato mash. Dessert is a choice of pumpkin pie, coconut custard pie, or Milopita apple tart. Enjoy a wine pairing with each course for an extra $25.
