Being the newest speakeasy on the block, 143 Social has a rather intriguing selection of cocktails, all of which are numerically named. With a cocktail menu curated by head bartender Daniel Rodrigo, this is a place where craft is served through exquisite cocktails. The Number 3 is blended with Tequila, Xicaru, yellow chartreuse, lemon, prickly pear, and fresh watermelon juice with a black pepper tincture.

While we’re huge fans of the Rock’n Moroccan at Barbès, the Montmarte is also a lovely, refreshing summer drink. It’s served with cucumber-infused vodka, fresh watermelon juice, lime juice, and a little bit of soda — and it’s simply the best on a scorching summer day.

Fried chicken is a common menu item (but that doesn’t make it any less delicious) What takes this dish to the next level are the toppings of salsa verde, watermelon, feta, and mint. Combine this entrée with classic sides such as mashed potatoes or macaroni and cheese and you’re in for a yummy meal.

Nothing quite beats the summer heat like a watermelon salad that’s whipped up fresh, and the only thing that can make it better is the right pop of color. This refreshing item on the menu is made with lime, pickled onions, pickled Persian cucumber, feta, mint, cherry tomatoes, and balsamic vinaigrette. The team is also currently working on a thirst-quenching watermelon cocktail to beat the incoming days of heat.

For guests looking for a mocktail, the No Paloma will do the trick, made with zero-proof tequila, watermelon juice, lime, and agave.

In the coming days of this season, the team is also expected to roll out new watermelon menu items so we’ll have to keep an eye out for that.
