The weather is starting to warm up as we transition into the spring season — something Hudson County locals have been looking forward to. As the nice weather settles in, so does the spring holiday season, and Easter is now less than a week away. If you are looking to spend the holiday locally and want to indulge in some of Hoboken and JC’s best meal options, we’ve got you covered. Read on for a list of where to enjoy Easter Sunday brunch in Hoboken, Jersey City, and beyond.

Anthony David’s | 953 Bloomfield Street

There are few things better than a BYOB option and brunch, and Anthony David’s offers both. You can grab brunch or dinner here for Easter, with both outdoor and indoor seating available. The menu at Anthony David’s is Italian-inspired and includes eggs benedicts, lunch pasta, a variety of brunch cocktails, and more.

Bin 14 | 1314 Washington Street

Bin 14 has both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a noteworthy wine list. The brunch special here includes one small plate, one entree, and perfectly powdered zeppole’s with a chocolate sauce on the side. Plus, the gluten-free options are hard to beat.

Halifax | 225 River Street

Halifax is a sleek eatery in the W Hotel with a focus on farm-to-table dishes. Enjoy a Bubbles Brunch for Easter and indulge on small plates like challah french toast, Halifax smoked salmon, beef sliders, golden beet salad, and more. If you are looking for dinner plans, Halifax will also have an a la carte dinner with new dishes for the spring season, including Bluehouse salmon, Jonah crab bucatini, and spring grains.

House of ‘Que | 340 Sinatra Drive

House of Que is a Texas-style barbecue joint developed by esteemed Texas pitmaster Mike Rodriguez that serves up brunch every weekend. Dishes include biscuits and gravy, a smoked brisket BBQ brunch burger, chicken and waffles, a sweet + spicy BBQ bowl, and more.

The Madison Bar + Grill | 1316 Washington Street

The Madison is an uptown Hoboken restaurant where you can sit inside by the bar where the TVs are located or enjoy the outdoor seating. The spot is serving up a special Easter Sunday brunch — the menu includes pancakes, french toast, benedicts, avocado toast, and more.

The Brass Rail | 135 Washington Street

The Brass Rail is a new American restaurant that is great for dining on a budget. For $28, you get a 2-course brunch meal plus a cocktail. When it comes to the food, the spot does an eggs Benedict super well — and there’s bacon, smoked salmon, or even lobster to pick as the protein.

Zack’s Oak Bar + Restaurant | 232 Willow Avenue

You can get Easter brunch, lunch, or dinner at Zack’s — which serves up American classics. The extensive brunch menu here includes dishes like lemon ricotta pancakes, huevos rancheros, a tempura shrimp sandwich, eggs benedict, and more.

Jersey City

Amelia’s Bistro | 187 Warren Street

Amelia’s is a popular place for a romantic evening out or brunch with friends. The spot’s weekly Sunday brunch runs from 10AM-3PM and includes dishes like lobster hash + eggs, caramel crunch brioche french toast, avocado toast, a breakfast flatbread, and more. There is also a variety of brunch cocktails, beer cocktails, and Bloody Mary’s.

Lokal | 2 2nd Street

Lokal offers modern American cuisine, taking a truly local approach to each dish on its menu by sourcing as many ingredients from the Garden State as they can. The spot will be offering its normal brunch and dinner menu as well as a selection of cocktails for Easter Sunday.

Liberty House | 76 Audrey Zapp Drive

This spot is well known for its incredible food and top-notch staff. Enjoy Liberty House’s annual Easter Sunday brunch buffet from 11AM-6PM — $75 for adults and $35 for children under 12. Terra E Mare | 2 Chapel Avenue Unit 2

Terra E Mare is an upscale restaurant on the ground level of Hudson House by Landmark in Port Liberte with rustic vibes on the outside and sleek, high-end vibes on the inside. Easter brunch specials will be served from 11AM – 3PM, with dishes like lasagna and an Easter sweets basket. The Hamilton Inn | 708 Jersey Avenue

This spot is an elevated neighborhood pub known for its weekend brunch and seasonal camp. Head to The Hamilton Inn for brunch or dinner on Easter Sunday. The menu is lengthy, and includes dishes like cornbread french toast, queso fundido, a Greek omelet, mimosas, iced espresso martinis, and more.

The Kitchen Step | 500 Jersey Avenue

The Kitchen Step is a local sit-down favorite in Jersey City, serving up modern American dishes, and an inventive brunch menu. This spot will be hosting brunch and dinner on Easter Sunday with an a la carte menu that includes specials from 11AM – 7PM.

Blu on the Hudson | 1200 Harbor Boulevard

This new Weehawken spot has NYC skyline views and serves modern American dishes with an emphasis on seafood — including a sushi counter. The restaurant will have a special menu for Easter Sunday from 2PM – 9PM in addition to the a la carte menu. Special dishes include Colorado lamb chops, house-made cavatelli, lamb meatballs, sugar snap peas + Greek feta salad, lobster mac + cheese, and carrot cake.
