Luckily for Hudson County residents, it’s easy to take advantage of the many nearby spas in New Jersey for a quick getaway to rejuvenate after a busy sun-soaking summer. But which spas can you spend the day {and potentially night} enjoying some zen? To help you, we’ve rounded up a list of some spa retreats within two hours of Hoboken and Jersey City:

    The Spas at Crystal Springs Resort | Route 94, Hamburg {1 hour + 19 minute drive}

The Woodhouse Day Spa has a points-based rewards program that appeals to frequent visitors who are seeking a constant state of zen. Their wide array of 70 different treatments range from traditional massages and facials to much-needed 20th-century services such as modern sleep treatments.

    Serenity Salon & Spa | 1405 Broad Street, Bloomfield {33 minute drive or 1 hour + 13 minutes on NJ Transit}

    Deemed a “feast for the senses,” Serenity Salon & Spa is a close enough retreat but feels far enough from reality.     A much-loved gem for locals and out-of-towners alike, SoJo Day Spa is an easy ride over to Edgewater for pampering with an amazing view of the NYC skyline {check out pictures on Instagram and not gawk}.     Zahara Day Spa | 403 Monmouth Street, Jersey City {14 minute drive or 26 minutes via NJ Transit}

    This spot is the #winner in being the closest spot to the Hoboken PATH station at a mere 14-minute drive away. In the market for a quick half-day haven while awaiting night plans or have a babysitter {or dog-sitter} for a few hours? Don’t go far to calm your restless city-paced mind. Zahara specializes in skin care for specific use-case scenarios: such as facials targeted for acne, rejuvenation, aging or an overall glow.     Legit a cab ride or light rail ride away, this zen retreat is perfect for a quick trip or all-day experience. om.life focuses on cryotherapy, infrared saunas, and flotation tanks for the ultimate relaxation experience. They also boast alkaline water, teas, and CBD oil massages. Opt for one treatment or better yet, try ’em all.

    The Pampered Spirit is a mobile massage company {say that 3 times fast} for an intimate solo experience or at-home party for friends.
