80 River | 80 River Street
Almost guaranteed to have a line wrapped around the corner, 80 River brings in a lot of out-of-towners since it’s literally right across the street from the PATH station. But trust us, once you get inside, the line will totally be worth the wait. The bar plays all the top music with three large areas for dancing and three different bars. It’s only one block away from Basile’s Pizza – which is a must-stop following a long night of dancing.
Birch | 92 River Street
Although temporarily closed, Birch is a go-to spot for dancing and an Instagram-worthy milkshake. Located in the midst of the downtown Hoboken bar scene, when open, Birch never lacks a huge crowd, proving it is definitely the dancing spot of choice for many. This is more of a club vibe on the weekends.
Madd Hatter | 221 Washington Street
After 10PM, Madd Hatter turns into a nightclub atmosphere by clearing the tables out and the DJ spinning beats. This is one of the few bars in Hoboken where bottle service is allowed.

Porta | 135 Newark Avenue
With two other locations in Asbury Park and Philly, Porta’s DJs keep crowds dancing from the Hudson River all the way to the Jersey Shore. Hands down some of the best dancing in the area, the DJs play the top songs and the bartenders are pour up some delicious drinks.

This Jersey City gay bar has a rooftop to enjoy and drag events on the regular. Safe to say the party does not stop at Six 26.
