The college sports event that all basketball fans look forward to is almost here: March Madness, when 68 NCAA teams from around the United States participate in the tournament. This year’s games will be played from Tuesday, March 19th to Monday, April 8th. The games kick off in Dayton Ohio, with the championship game in Glendale, Arizona. Luckily for us, Hoboken + Jersey City know how to turn out for any major sporting event, especially since Saint Peter’s University will go head-to-head with the Tennessee Volunteers on March 21st. Hoboken
Black Bear Bar + Grill | 205 Washington Street
To celebrate March Madness, Black Bear will be having drink specials that include Sam Adams Drafts for $6, Tito’s Vodka drinks for $10, Miller Lite pitchers for $18, and High Noon Buckets for $45. More information can be found on Instagram.

For March Madness’ opening week, there will be food specials such as $1 wings, $5 pints, and half-priced mixed drinks. Throughout the week, the spot will alternate between other specials like $1 beers. More information can be found here.

House of ‘Que will have various drink specials throughout the March Madness season — including specials on Bud Light, Miller Lite, Nutrl, and Surfside Tea buckets. More information can be found here.
Madd Hatter | 221 Washington Street
Madd Hatter will have drinks specials such as $16 Coors Light pitchers, $25 domestic buckets, and $30 import buckets. To pair with the drink specials, $1 wings and $3 sliders will be available. More information can be found on Instagram.

Guests can catch all of the March Madness games at Texas Arizona. While watching the games, there will be a competition called Mini Hoops Mania — a quick basketball tournament. Whoever gets the highest score can win a weekend trip to Vegas and a chance to compete for a cash prize. Learn more here.

In honor of March Madness, Departed Soles has its Busted Bracket beer available — the drink is a lightly hopped amber lager. To celebrate the St. Peter’s game on March 21st, drinks specials will include Busted Bracket pints for $5 and $13 for four packs while supplies last. Learn more here.
