They say summer bodies are made in winter, but we believe taking care of yourself is a year-round routine. {Though it’s much more fun in the warm weather!} Hoboken might be small, but it’s mighty in fitness offerings. With so many gyms and fitness studios, it can be overwhelming to figure out the best place to spend your money + time. Plus, a good fitness plan isn’t just about hitting the gym; having a healthy and balanced diet is really important too, and it will only help you take your workout to the next level. Enter Project Sculpt and its 30-day transformation challenge with workouts and meals.

Lucky for Hoboken, Project Sculpt is the newest boutique fitness gym opening in early June, located right above Sephora at 319 Washington Street, 2nd floor. Meet Chris: Founder of Get Deliciously Fit + Project Sculpt

Project Sculpt is owned and operated by Chris Almazan, a celebrity fitness trainer who has spent the last 10 years perfecting the formula for body transformations. Chris started his career as a personal trainer and then created Get Deliciously Fit, a meal-prep delivery company serving NY + NJ. Chris worked on his own body transformation when competing in a men’s physique competition and was able to fine tune the formula to create change in his body. Over the years, Chris has helped hundreds of people transform their bodies through fitness and nutrition, and has worked out personally in hundreds of gyms. With Project Sculpt, he’s excited to bring his new business concept to Hoboken and help more people achieve their dream bodies through some of his favorite and tried-and-true workouts.

    The Transformation Challenge

The Transformation Challenge is a 30-day challenge that offers participants the opportunity to combine fitness and diet {where you actually get portioned meals as per correct macro counts}, making it possible to work on both areas at the same time, and under the guidance of the Project Sculpt team.

Chris has hosted these transformations before, and most people lose between 10-20 pounds in the month, and several inches {see below for some before and after pics!}:

    About Project Sculpt

Some of the Hoboken Girl team had the opportunity to train with Chris at Project Sculpt, so we got to experience his all-levels class and jam out to his playlist. The classes are in a group setting but with a personal training vibe {only 16 people per class, and you’re broken up into groups of four}. Everyone has the chance to work the upper and lower body, abs, cardio, and boxing on the aqua bags. Classes will challenge you, but also leave you feeling inspired and proud of your hard work. Workouts are perfect to do daily or a few times a week, as they won’t leave you needing several days of recovery.

Opening in June 2019, classes will be offered in the morning and evening and run for 50 minutes, so it will be hard to find excuses to not make it to class.
