Baking Mama | 88 Hudson Street
Baking Mama is a family-owned small batch bakeshop in Hoboken with a “focus on quality, patience, passion, faith and a dash of creativity.” Baking Mama occasionally hosts classes for children, like the No-Bake Delights Class and summer camp classes. Moo Jersey makes small-batch ice cream flavors and runs DIY ice cream classes out of the Monroe Center at 720 Monroe Street, Suite C-316 in Hoboken. This DIY ice cream experience is great for a friend’s night, date night, private events, and families. Participants learn about the history of ice cream, ice cream vs. gelato vs. sorbet, and how to make great ice cream at home, all while enjoying pizza. Sushi lovers can learn how to roll sushi at Saku’s Dark Room on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The class is called Rolling with the Homies and is led by the Head Sushi Chef Eddie-Sensei. Participants will learn how to make three types of rolls and rice vinegar for sushi rice.
