Snap Fitness JC

This is *the* destination for authentic local and international art. Currently, the gallery is featuring a “More Minis” showcase that offers over 250 small and affordable works by 50 artists which can be seen by appointment daily. These can easily fit in apartments of all sizes and several pieces can even be collected to create a cohesive space. The cherry on top is that located just below the gallery on the ground level is Xtina’s Variety and Vintage shop, filled with gems including additional original artwork for sale. Located in the heart of downtown Jersey City, this space is both a full-service custom framing shop and art gallery presenting artwork from the area. Some work includes iconic Jersey City scenes and neighborhoods from artist Lucy Malolepszy. Check the website for more information on the collections and other artists.

Roig Collection | 225 River Street, Hoboken

Located on the ground level of the W Hotel, The Roig Collection was started by longtime Hoboken resident, Ricardo Roig who is “a maker of modern original hand-cut art inspired by life.” There are multiple art series’ to choose from including a “Mile Square Series” that features favorite local landmarks and restaurants like The Elysian Cafe, Court Street, Sinatra Park, and more. Mix and Sip events are typically held on Thursdays and include live music, bites, and wine.

ArteVino Studio | 720 Monroe Street, Hoboken

ArteVino provides an interactive activity which is creating your own art. The classes typically are either 2.5 or 3 hours and are BYOB. There is also a “WalkIn Art Studio” for those with small apartments who want to paint freely without storing art supplies. Check the calendar for updates. 

Washington General Store | 509 Washington Street, Hoboken

This boutique has been a Hoboken favorite since 2014 and has something for everyone when it comes to wall decor. The shop showcases some local art, but also offers a variety of novelty wall art from trendy mirrors to suncatchers.
