The DRIP Fitness Announces a Permanent Hoboken Location + Summer Pop-Up

While there has been much news of fitness studios closing over the past year, there are some definite signs of openings. In one such announcement this past week, The DRIP, a fitness studio that debuted in 2020 and quickly became a popular spot offering cycling, boxing, and other HIIT + cardio options, shared that it would be opening a downtown pop-up location as well as a permanent location uptown in the coming months. Last year, The DRIP was voted HobokenGirl’s Best Fitness Studio 2020, and this year they will be opening up a downtown permanent location. The Pop-Up

On April 17th, indoor and socially distant cycling classes will be taking place at The DRIP pop-up location at 101 Park Avenue. The pop-up will remain open until July 2021. DRIIP (DRIP’s take on HIIT), barre, and boxing classes will be held at the 1012 Grand Street location.

The DRIP’s Launch

Co-founders of The DRIP Olivia Bernardo LaCaruba and Samantha Green, Hoboken residents and long-time fitness instructors started the fitness studio amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We believe that fitness frees the body, mind, and spirit. The DRIP is a new fitness experience brought to life during the pandemic, out of a desire to help people change their lives through the way they move their bodies. Thank you for building this brand and starting this movement with us!” The DRIP website stated. 

The DRIP offers a variety of different classes to choose from such as cycling, boxing, DRIIP {which is HIIT cardio and strength}, barre, flow {power yoga}, choreo sculpt, dance cardio, heartcore, and mobility. All descriptions of each class are located on the website.

The DRIP currently offers classes that are in-person, virtual, outdoor, and private training. Classes can be registered for on the website and also on The DRIP app. All classes are recorded and are easily accessible from the member portal. The app is on both the app store and Google Play entitled “THE DRIP FITNESS.” Every Sunday, all the classes for the upcoming week are uploaded.

The New Permanent Location

This summer, The DRIP will be opening a brand new location at 115 Grand Street, and have just signed the lease after a year in its 1012 Grand Street location.

Staying Up-to-Date

The DRIP will be open from 8AM-12:30PM and reopens at 4PM-8PM Monday through Thursday, 8AM-12PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 8AM-12:30PM on Sundays at all locations.
