The Hoboken Girl Team 
In an exclusive shared with The Hoboken Girl, the owners behind Metropolis are planning to take over the former Union Hall space, located at 306 Sinatra Drive, with a new concept. Metropolis opened in downtown Hoboken in 2023, transforming the former Dubliner space into a restaurant and cocktail destination with several floors (including the rooftop of course!). The new concept will be called Casablanca Hoboken. Read on for more about what to expect from this Hoboken newcomer.
About Union Hall
Union Hall opened in 2015 and closed in 2026. The prior tenant in the space, Trinity Bar, was another long-time business, running from 2004-2015. The space is enormous and multi-leveled, and its location close to the waterfront made it a popular destination.
Union Hall in particular was known for its weekend mimosa bar.
Casablanca Hoboken
Casablanca Hoboken is inspired by the Mediterranean, with blue-and-white interiors and lounge-style seating. The menu will feature seafood, small plates, and paellas. At the center of it all will be a live pizza bar, where chefs will make Neapolitan-style pizza in plain view of diners all night long.
No opening date has been shared yet, but The Hoboken Girl will update this piece with details when they are made available.
