March is here, which means St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner. Many bars and restaurants will host celebrations in addition to a variety of community events going on in Hudson County. Read on for a guide to St. Patrick’s Day 2024 events in Hudson County, New Jersey.

March 2nd — Hoboken LepreCon | 76 River Street, Hoboken

This annual event will return to the Mile Square City on March 2nd at 10AM. Various bars will be participating like the Madd Hatter, Willie McBrides, Pilsener Haus, The Shannon, and others. Tickets must be purchased in advance through this link.

March 7th — LSC After Dark: Battle of the Beers at Liberty Science Center | 222 Jersey City Boulevard, Jersey City

Liberty Science Center will get into the holiday spirit a week earlier. On March 7th, there will be a Battle of the Beers competition featuring two Jersey City-based breweries, Departed Soles and 902 Brewing Co. Guests are welcome to dress up in any St. Patrick’s Day attire. Tickets can be purchased here.

March 8th — Crafty Friday: St. Patrick’s Day at Secaucus Public Library | 1379 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus

Kids can also join in on St. Patrick’s Day fun. Secaucus Public Library will host a ‘Crafty Friday’ event. Participants will make a themed craft while supplies last. Learn more here.

March 8th — St. Patrick Cultural + Religious Celebration Flag Raising 2024 at City Hall | 280 Grove Street 2nd Floor, Jersey City

On March 8th at 3:30PM, Jersey City Hall will celebrate Irish culture. It will be a cultural and religious celebration featuring a flag-raising ceremony. Learn more here.

March 10th — West Hudson St. Patricks Day Parade | 15 Frank E Rodgers Boulevard South, Harrison

The community is welcome to join West Hudson’s Deputy Grand Marshal and WhatCo Board member Gloria Spence for an outdoor parade. Volunteer options for the parade are available. Float decorating will be from 10AM-12PM in front of the theater at 15 Frank E. Rodgers Boulevard South. The parade then kicks off in Harrison and ends at Kearny Town Hall. Learn more here.

March 10th — Jersey City St. Patrick’s Day Parade | Jersey City

On Sunday, March 10th, the parade will start at Dickinson High School and go through Newark Avenue, Jersey Avenue, and Montgomery Street before ending at Jersey City Hall. More details are yet to be known in terms of a block party.

March 13th — St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Secaucus Recreation Center | 1200 Koelle Boulevard, Secaucus

At 6:30PM, guests can partake in an Irish celebration featuring live music and Irish dancing. Light refreshments will be served. There will also be crafting sessions for children. Learn more here.

March 14th — ‘Luck of the Irish’ Cocktail Class at Maddy Rose Restaurant | 76 Audrey Zapp Drive, Jersey City

For St. Patrick’s Day, Maddy Rose will host a cocktail class. Guests will learn to make three cocktails in a hands-on class from 7PM to 9PM. The drinks that will be crafted are Irish Maid, Greenhorn, and Dubliner. Light bites will be served to pair with the drinks. Tickets must be purchased in advance here.

 

 

March 16th — Jersey City St Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl | Jersey City

From 1PM to 8PM, Bar Crawls will be hosting a pub crawl throughout multiple Jersey City locations. Green attire is strongly encouraged for guests. Tickets can be purchased here.

March 16th — TPM Play Guttenberg St. Patrick’s Day Parade | Guttenberg

The Wild Rover Irish Pub will host a block party in Guttenberg starting at 1PM. There will be an outdoor show in front of Wild Rover Irish Pub. Besides music, Irish fare like corned beef and cabbage sandwiches will be served. Learn more here.

March 17th — St. Patrick’s Day at Willie McBride’s | 616 Grand Street, Hoboken

The Irish pub and restaurant Willie McBride’s will have a St. Patrick’s Day celebration. There will be live music by My Side of The Ocean and Nicholas Fitzgerald. The event will begin at 11AM. Learn more here

March 17th — St. Patrick’s Day Face Painting at Little City Books | 100 Bloomfield Street, Hoboken

Little City Books will be welcoming an artist on-site on March 17th at 11AM. Guests can get their faces painted with shamrocks and other St. Patrick’s Day looks yet to be announced. This event is free and more info can be found here.

March 17th — Hoboken St. Patrick’s Block Party | Multiple Locations

Guests can come dressed in their St. Patrick’s Day gear and celebrate at multiple Hoboken bars from 12PM to 8PM. The participating businesses for this event will be Wicked Wolf, The Ainsworth, and The Lola. Tickets can be purchased here.

March 17th — Jersey City Official St Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl | Kicks off at 116 Newark Avenue, Jersey City

Pubcrawls.com is bringing St. Patrick’s Day fun to Jersey City on March 17th at 1PM. Guests will be able to visit multiple Jersey City bars and pubs while sipping on green drinks, listening to music, and meeting new people. Tickets must be purchased in advance through Eventbrite here.

March 17th — St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Bayonne | Broadway + 5th Street, Bayonne

The parade will kick off between Broadway and 5th at 1PM. It will then conclude at Stephen R. Gregg/Bayonne County Park. Learn more here.
