Newport Centre, located at 30 Mall Drive W in Jersey City, is already home to a lot of different dining options. Obox Sushi, Panera, and The Cheesecake Factory are just some of the current spots that shoppers can choose from — and the eateries are only continuing to grow. Just a few months ago, it was announced that Pizza Studio would be joining the Newport Mall. Now, four new popular dining spots are coming to the mall this year. Among them are: Shake Shack, Cinnabon, Jamba, and Kings of Kobe. Read on for what we know about about the newest dining additions to Newport Centre.

New Dining Options Coming Soon

Newport Centre announced via a press release that four new eateries are expected to open up this summer. In addition, four new dining options have already opened recently and are available for shoppers to try now.

Tsujita

Shake Shack

Hudson County is now no stranger to Shake Shacks. After much anticipation, the popular burger + shake chain opened up on Washington Street in Hoboken about a year ago. It was also recently announced that Jersey City would be getting a Shake Shack of its own at 95 Christopher Columbus Drive. Now, Shake Shack will be setting up another Hudson County home in the Newport Mall. We certainly won’t be starved for Shake Shack choices.

Hobbs Inc

Scheduled to Open: Q4 2022. It will be located on level 3 in the Dining Pavilion.

There’s nothing quite like the taste — or smell — of a warm cinnamon bun. Cinnabon is among the new spots coming to the mall, and we’re hoping it makes the whole mall smell delicious.

Scheduled to Open: Q3 2022. It will be located in a kiosk on level 1 in Center Court near Bath & Body Works.

Jamba

Jamba shops, formerly known as Jamba Juice, have been popping up all over the place. Jamba serves up smoothies and other blended beverages. Jamba will join a host of local juice and smoothie shops that Hoboken + Jersey City are already so lucky to have.

Scheduled to open: Q3 2022. It will be located on level 2 next to T Mobile.

Kings of Kobe

Kings of Kobe is located in NYC — and this expansion to Jersey City is only the restaurant’s second location. It serves giant hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, shakes, fries, fun cocktails, and more. The Jersey City location will have a dining room that can seat 200 guests and will also have a full bar and a private dining room.

Scheduled to open: Q4 2022. It will be located on level 1 across from The Cheesecake Factory.

New Dining Options Available Now

A few other spots have opened recently in Newport Centre. Among them are:

Cheese lovers: this spot is for you. This fast-casual spot focuses on American comfort food — grilled cheese, fries, mac and cheese, you name it. It’s located on level 3 in the Dining Pavilion.

Pizza Studio

Pizza Studio, a Los Angeles-based restaurant, has brought its unique premium pizza and fast-casual concept to New Jersey for the first time. It’s located on level 3 in the Dining Pavilion.

Dosa Spot

Dosa Spot’s focus is on Indian food. It serves traditional Indian cuisine in a casual dine-in and take-out setting. Everything is freshly made, and you can find a variety of Dosa, Idli, and Medu Vada accompanied with chutney and Sambar. It’s located on level 2 next to Verizon Wireless and Haagen Dazs.

Boom Fryers

For Korean fried chicken, Boom Fryers is the spot in Newport Centre. Boom Fryers has both sweet and savory crunchy Korean fried chicken. It aims to create everything with a lot of flavor without battering the chicken too heavily. It’s located on level 3 in the Dining Pavilion.

We’re looking forward to trying out these new spots.
