Plans for Summer 2026

This summer, the JC Restaurant Fest will feature a new “Taste the World” theme that celebrates the 2026 World Cup by increasing visibility for local spots. For the five-week event, vendors can participate in the JC Restaurant Fest for free. “With just a few weeks to go til the opening, we wanted to help boost visibility in every way we can,” the Jersey City Restaurant Fest team explained on its website. Its goal is to point locals and visitors from across the world towards small businesses in the city.

JC Restaurant Fest’s approach mirrors other World Cup-related happenings in Hudson County, including Hoboken’s 12-day series of World Cup block parties and fan festivals in select New Jersey cities. Much like these events, the JC Restaurant Fest aims to blend fan participation and exposure for small businesses.

The full list of restaurants for Summer 2026 has not yet been released, but over 45 have signed up so far, according to JC Restaurant Fest’s Instagram. Those interested in participation as a customer or vendor can visit its website here.
