Winter

A Wing and a Prayer

A Wing and a Prayer is a chicken wing contest hosted by St. Francis Church to benefit the Fr. Michael Food Pantry. Local chefs compete at Elks Lodge in Hoboken for the title of “King of Wings.”  The event will take place on February 21st from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.  More information on this event can be found here

Spring

Jersey City Restaurant Fest

This two-week event, taking place from March 14th to March 28th, is designed to showcase the diverse culinary scene in the area. The event invites the community to explore new flavors + local favorites alike.  More information about this event + participating restaurants can be found here

Spring Arts + Music Festival

The Spring Arts and Music Festival features food from local trucks and vendors, along with a showcase of artists, crafters, and other local businesses along Washington Street in Hoboken. This Hoboken foodie festival will feature local eats, music, and a book drive. Founded by Amanda Dale-Lopez, an advocate for autism awareness, this festival will serve as a platform for the cause. The Hoboken Mac and Cheese Festival is a favorite among foodies. This year marks the 7th annual celebration. Presented by Hoboken Happy Hours, the event features a lineup of Hoboken restaurants serving their best mac and cheese dishes. The event will take place on April 11th. Hoboken Mutz Fest

Nothing screams Hoboken like Mutz Fest. Organized by the Hoboken Family Alliance, this mozzarella-focused event features family-friendly activities, including a cannoli-eating contest and a Sinatra sing-along. A newer foodie event for locals, the Jersey City Pizza Fest returns for its second year. The event will take place on March 28th,  from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and will feature participants from over 10 local pizzerias, giving attendees the chance to sample a variety of pies. A longtime favorite for locals, the Hoboken Italian Festival, also known as the Feast of the Madonna Dei Martiri, is an Italian street fair with delicious food, entertainment, fireworks, and more. The event will take place from September 10th to 13th. Get all the details about the event here.

Jersey City Puerto Rican Heritage Arts + Culture Festival

The Jersey City Puerto Rican Heritage and Culture Festival is a lively celebration of Puerto Rican heritage. Food and live music set the scene for family-friendly fun. The series of events typically takes place over a weekend in August. The festival will take place on August 15th + 16th, with a parade on the 16th as well. For additional information, click here.

La Festa Italiana

La Festa Italiana is Jersey City’s Italian festival, running for five consecutive days. The event is full of Italian favorites and family-friendly fun. The event will take place from August 5th to 9th. See more event information here.

Taste of Hoboken

Taste of Hoboken is an annual fundraiser hosted by Hoboken Community Center, where local restaurants participate in an evening pop-up to benefit the Hoboken Community Center and its programs. It will be hosted on June 9th, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Maxwell Park.

Fall

Fall Harvest Festival

The Fall Harvest Festival is a major event in Hoboken featuring food from local trucks and vendors. It also highlights artists, crafters, and other local businesses along Washington Street.
