Jersey City is home to some of the most innovative businesses in the area – a big part of the city’s charm. Locals can brace for a new business with a unique concept opening at 115-117 Brunswick Street called Into the Void. The name of the shop doesn’t give much indication as to what kind of business it is, furthering the mystery behind its story but what we do know is that art lovers and coffee lovers now have a place to enjoy both of those things.

Into the Void will sell antique/vintage furniture and decor from its already-established company that was previously selling its products online and operating out of a warehouse. This new outpost will feature the best of the company’s collection and have a full espresso bar. Shopping and coffee – the shop’s unique take on an everyday boutique.

“Into The Void comes from the minds of New Jersey natives Greg Yannalfo and Andy Schulz. The company has been operating out of a refurbished factory space dubbed Mongers Market in Bridgeport, Connecticut,” Jersey Digs reported. The couple has been selling via the company’s Instagram page.

The shop is undergoing a major renovation to prepare for the new layout that will display 1,800 square feet of antique products from couches to art to dinnerware and everything in between. Yannalfo and Schulz told Jersey Digs that furniture and antiques on display at the store will range from “rare, odd, exciting, and beautiful with a focus on 20th century modern design.”

With a passion for great coffee, the couple hopes to curate a fun experience for customers shopping at their store. The coffee and espresso will be sourced from Ithaca’s Forty Weight Coffee Roasters and the menu will boast a rotating selection of other New Jersey-made coffee and pastries.
