We love our pizza here in Hoboken, and Quality Pizza Co. at 304 Washington Street is just one of the many great options to choose from. This newer pizza spot opened up in April 2023. The space had previously been home to Rice Shop, an Asian fusion restaurant serving Thai, Cantonese, and Korean dishes, but that closed in spring 2022. About Quality Pizza Co. + the Owner
The name and mission are simple: to serve only the best. Samuel Mike, the restaurant’s operator, told The Hoboken Girl in spring 2023 ahead of its opening that everything involved in the pizza will be top-of-the-line. “Everything will be delivered fresh,” he said. “The sauce is made from scratch and takes three to four hours. The cheese is the best kind available. Nothing is frozen.”

Samuel, who lives in Jersey City, said that he wanted to bring his years of experience making pizza to Hoboken. “I’ve been making pizza for 14 years at different New York and New Jersey pizzerias,” he said. “I want Quality Pizza Co. to put Hoboken on the map by using our recipes.”
The space has undergone a full renovation since Quality Pizza Co. took over. “It’s a completely different space,” Samuel said. The February 2023 water main break in Hoboken delayed several of the final inspections necessary to complete the work and finalize inspections, and the spot opened up in early April.
The menu has round pies, square pies, and personal pies. Classic pizzas include pepperoni, mushroom, buffalo chicken, and plain, as well as a sausage jalapeno, vodka, and vegetable, among other options. Sicilian pizzas include classic Sicilian, vodka, spicy pepperoni, grandma, and white, among other choices. Slices start at $3.50.
A gluten-free crust, cauliflower crust, and vegan cheese are also available. There are also salads, calzones, appetizers, rolls, and desserts (we recommend the pizza cookie, pictured below). Some of the appetizers include things like mozzarella sticks and chicken wings, excellent choices for a game night watch party. Find the full menu here.
Samuel said that everything is fresh and made daily. The restaurant plans to have catering in the future as well.

Quality Pizza Co. is open seven days a week — 11AM-11PM on Sundays, Mondays, + Tuesdays, 11AM-12AM on Wednesdays, 11AM-1AM on Thursdays, and 11AM-3:30AM on Fridays + Saturdays. The restaurant eventually wants to provide delivery as well, but right now it has online ordering.
