Clean beauty has become increasingly popular among consumers, and with good reason. Clean beauty is defined as products that are ethically sourced and made without any proven or suspected toxic ingredients. Products that are not made with natural, organic ingredients can contain carcinogens and chemicals that are harmful to our bodies and the environment.

Clean beauty is not only prevalent in the skincare industry but also important in hair care. After all, anything we put on our skin and bodies gets absorbed into our bloodstream within minutes, so it is important to be educated on the products we use. With so many options of hair products and salons, it can be difficult to differentiate the good from the bad. The Hoboken Girl team has reached out to local salons and narrowed down a list of those that offer clean and organic products with safe ingredients. Read on to learn which hair salons in Hoboken and Jersey City offer organic and clean beauty products that clients can trust.
