    About

Winner of Hoboken Girl’s Best Salon in Jersey City, Love Lane was created in November of 2016 by owner and creative director, Kristina Maccaro. She started her career in the beauty industry 15 years ago, working at various salons around the city while juggling her education at FIT in Fashion Design. After graduation, Kristina landed a job at Frederic Fekkai in SoHo, where she was exposed to another part of the hair world she never knew existed. Thus sparked her drive to finish hair school and complete her apprenticeship with the creative director of the color department.

Although her life in the corporate salon world was on the rise, Kristina’s entrepreneurial spirit kept her thinking big. After meeting her husband John in 2012 {who is also a stylist at Love Lane}, her dreams of owning her own salon soon became a reality. For the last few years, Love Lane salon has been a favorite amongst locals and for good reason. Kristina has created a magical space that is committed to delivering exceptional styling and coloring services.
