HDSID’s Halloween Family Bash

HDSID’s Halloween Family Bash is taking place on Monday, October 31st from 3:00PM-8:00PM at the Grove PATH Plaza and Newark Avenue Pedestrian Mall in downtown Jersey City. The fun-filled afternoon is not only free but will include face painting, games, a corn maze, pumpkins, sand art, a design-a-doll booth, and all the Halloween candy. Not to mention, there will be live musical performances featuring the Break-a-Leg Entertainers, Sofa Oro and the Doll Parts, Howlin’ Bill, The Hoboken School of Rock, and Emily Gabriele and Junior Jewels. Music for the Halloween event is supported by public funds from the Jersey City Arts and Culture Trust Fund.

The Laugh Tour at Dorrian’s Red Hand

Dorrian’s Red Hand, located at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City, is hosting two comedy shows on Saturday, October 22nd at 6:30PM and 8:30PM. The Laugh Tour is hosted by comedian Rich Kiamco and will feature Ahri Findling from Nickelodeon; Jason Chatfield from Food Network; Ariel Evans from NY Underground Comedy Fest; and Liz Glazer, winner from Boston Comedy Festival winner. Show tickets purchased online in advance of the show are $15 and are $20 day of and at the door with a 2 item minimum per person. Ticket holders are asked to please arrive 20 minutes prior to the show to allow easy seating and drink + food orders. Additional shows with other comedians will take place every Saturday night. Venue and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Proof of vaccination is no longer required.
