Nothing says summer like an open-air bazaar with live music, artisan booths, and an amazing community coming out in full force. Located at the Grove Street PATH Plaza, Groove on Grove + The Artist & Maker Market have joined forces just in time for the warm weather to create one all-encompassing event, sponsored by the Historic Downtown Special Improvement District (HDSID). Kicking off this month, you will be able to shop handcrafted and unique pieces with over 100 rotating vendors every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday through September. Groove on Grove – Homegrown Music
Groove on Grove is a free, weekly music series that brings “Homegrown Music” to the plaza, takes place during the summertime, and features a wide variety of musicians + performers. This family-friendly event brings the community together to celebrate Jersey City and its musical diversity, showcasing performers from Opera to RocknRoll. The Groove on Grove concert series returned on Wednesday, May 4th with a stellar lineup featuring Forget the Whale and MisterTickle Hands. This Wednesday, catch locals Brendan Mieles and Chill Brown and special guests. The music kicks off at 6PM and ends at 9PM.
Every Wednesday this summer, Groove on Grove returns to the Grove Street PATH Plaza with free, live music in the center of Historic Downtown Jersey City. To check out the lineup each week, follow along on Facebook.

The Artist & Maker Market Vendors
The Artist & Maker Market will be running simultaneously with Groove on Grove and will feature the best of the best of local artists and makers. On Wednesdays, the booths open at 3PM and you can shop ‘til you drop — or until 9PM when everything closes up at the Grove Street PATH Plaza. On Saturdays, the Artist & Maker Market is open 12PM to 6PM. Here is a small sampling of some of the vendors that are scheduled to attend:
