After selling almost 2,000 sandwiches in the month of March and donating $1,953 to local non-profit York Street Project, The Hoboken Girl Breakfast Sandwich is now a PERMANENT addition to the Alessio’s menu. The sandwich is available at both Alessio’s locations (539 Park Avenue, Hoboken + 99 Franklin Street, Jersey City), and we will be donating our portion of the sales to a different non-profit each quarter.

Boys + Girls Clubs of Hudson County | Hoboken + Jersey City
The Boys + Girls Clubs of Hudson County was founded in 1893 to create a positive place for the youth of Jersey City. In the 129 years since its founding, the club has expanded its scope exponentially by offering a mix of nationally developed programs + activities. The Clubs serve more than 2,000 youth ages five to 21 annually in Clubhouses in JC + Hoboken, through a mission to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, + caring citizens of the community. The Hoboken Shelter | Hoboken
The Hoboken Shelter hosts 50 guests nightly + serves more than 1,000 meals throughout the week. As a full-service community partner, the Hoboken Shelter is a necessary resource within the neighborhood. Family Promise of Hudson County | Jersey City
Family Promise addresses homelessness by using the resources of volunteer congregations in Hoboken + Jersey City by providing space in their buildings to serve as temporary homes for homeless families. Each Family Promise affiliate also has a day center, where families can take showers, receive case management, and look for housing and jobs. Family Promise relies on volunteers to give their time, making meals, sharing hospitality, spending the night, playing with children, and lending their passion and expertise to help families get back on their feet.
