The spot specializes in pan-Latin street food, which includes classics like tacos, bowls, sandwiches, and platters, all handmade and fired in its signature grill. The dishes blend familiar favorites and regional influences, all made fresh and never starting frozen, representing the rich culinary heritage of Latin America. So far, the most popular plates have been the Cuban sandwich, filled with rich Mojo pork, pickles, and mustard on toasted bread.

According to the U.S. Census, North Bergen Township is made up of roughly 71% Hispanic or Latino residents as of 2024. The restaurant’s arrival to this community feels especially fitting, and per its website, its mission is “bringing the warmth, rhythm, and flavor of Latin America to every plate and every community we serve.”

The restaurant is a combo of a high-energy fast-casual experience with quality ingredients, warm hospitality, strong cultural influence, and a vibrant, art-filled space. Guests can choose to dine in or order online for pickup or catering. Its signature dish is the rotisserie chicken.

“The difference is the flavor of the food,” the Brasa Cocina Latina team told HG. “We ensure the food is seasoned perfectly for the perfect bite every time. We don’t compromise on quality, freshness or process. The menu design allows for many custom entrees that will satisfy every palate.”

In the coming months, the restaurant looks forward to establishing themselves as a go-to spot for tasty cravings. There will be specials introduced in the next few weeks that will feature dishes like Chilaquiles and Aguadito de pollo, along with empanadas and pastelillos.
