With style, grace, and class, owner and fashionista Anne Bonner began her career in finance, commuting back and forth to the city for work — but over time, Anne realized that the wind in her sails were changing. The daily hustle looked better from the other side of the Hudson. She decided to open Peper, a clothing boutique in her hometown city and shortly after Parlor, a store selling beautiful footwear. What’s Inside Peper and Parlor
Anne’s storefront can’t be missed. The gorgeous, dark building on the corner of 10th and Washington stands out against the surrounding brick walls and attracts locals and visitors on a daily basis. They say, “don’t judge a book by its cover” but from the outside looking in, Peper + Parlor definitely lives up to the hype inside.
The storefront has a stunning selection of hand-picked clothing, handbags, shoes, accessories, and beauty products for every style and size. Some favorite designers include A Piece Apart, Xirena, and Eleven Thirty. The store also carries big brands like Citizens of Humanity and Levi Strauss.

Peper and Parlor’s Mission
One of the many things we love about Peper + Parlor is that its mission is to make everyone feel beautiful. The owner + her staff understand that their clients are not a one size fits all deal. Beauty comes in so many different shapes and sizes. We love that they bring out the best in everyone and help to style their clients in outfits that make them feel confident.
“We create an element of fun with fashion,” explained Grace {one of the store’s fashionistas}. They know their clients well and have created a place where everyone feels beautiful.

Being a small business owner in Hoboken for the last 23+ years has allowed Anne to really become part of her hometown. She loves bringing the community together and supporting other local businesses, too. When people ask for recommendations on where to go for dinner, they always send them to their favorite Hoboken spots and dress them for the occasion, too.
“Oh, you’re going to dinner at Anthony David’s? I have the perfect dress for you,” can be heard echoing between the store’s walls day in and day out. Right now, the fashion-forward look is athleisure and while the staff loves a comfortable, chic outfit, they want people to get excited about sporting something other than spandex. They want their clients to get excited about dressing up, going out, and feeling beautiful inside and out.
