How to Get There

By Car

Approximately 350 miles away, driving to the Nemacolin property takes about 6 hours from the tri-state area With ample rest stops and open roads – take I-78 W to 1-81 S to 1-76 W, and follow PA-281 S and US-40 W straight to your glam weekend.

Flights

Head to Newark Airport {EWR} and catch a flight to Pittsburgh {PIT}. United offers direct flights, while PIT is one of the most painless airports to fly in and out of {with short security lines and pleasant staff}. Plus, the flight time is just over an hour – a breeze! There are car rentals available on site, and it’s an 85-mile drive to Farmington.

Impacts of COVID-19

The resort is currently operating at limited capacity for safety reasons. The staff is going the extra mile with precautions to ensure guests and staff stay healthy. The face mask requirement is heavily enforced in all public areas, and social distancing is in full effect on the property.

Personal protective equipment such as face masks, hand sanitizers, and alcohol wipes are readily available throughout the resort – placed at entrances, restaurants, pools, salons, in rooms, and more.

All of Nemacolin’s restaurants and activities used to be open to the general public. But since reopening in May 2020 – after closing at the start of the pandemic – these parts of the resort are only accessible to guests and members only {with the exception of the ski area and two of the restaurants}.

Mystic Mountain

During the winter months, guests can ski, snowboard, and even tube across 25 acres on Mystic Mountain. And the fun never stops, as Mystic Mountain hosts night skiing on illuminated trails after dark. The slopes are open to the general public, overnight resort guests, members, and pass holders. Temperature checks are conducted at the mountain, while social distancing measures and mask mandates are in place throughout the space.

Golf

For the golfers out there, enjoy a round at either of Nemacolin’s two on-property courses designed by the renowned Pete Dye. The Mystic Rock course spans acres of the scenic Laurel Highlands, and offers spectacular views {and not to mention, it is a rather challenging, championship-level course}. Shepherd’s Rock, Nemacolin’s second course, offers players a stunning golf experience along the mountains.

Jeep Off-Roading

As seen in one of the episodes of The Bachelor, take your driving skills to the mountains. Each passenger will have the chance to drive portions of the 20-mile trail of rugged terrain. {Driving guests must present a valid driver’s license prior to their Jeep experience}.

Holistic Integrative Therapy
