The Hoboken Arts & Music Festival is an annual celebration of art, food, and music from near and far right here in Hudson County. Yesterday, over 300 vendors gathered to showcase their crafts, jewelry, trinkets, sweet and savory treats, clothing and much more on Washington in Hoboken. The team from Hoboken Girl was there and we’ve rounded some of our unique finds and favorites of the day. Little Readers Store
Creative director Allie Taylor welcomed us with a big smile on Sunday and shared more about Little Readers Store, which is a part of Imaginary Pages. The company reviews children’s books and encourages early learning through adorable baby clothing with fun sayings like “Bookworm Baby” and “Born to Read.” Check out the site here for reviews on classic, current, and upcoming children’s books and to shop.
Moose Mountain Maple
When a product comes with seven generations of family tradition, it’s {pretty much} guaranteed to be delish. That’s exactly the case with Moose Mountain Maple. The entire festival was filled with dozens of extremely talented artists. One of many who we had the chance to check out was Danielle Magaletto. Her art takes everyday items and brings them to life through acrylic paint prints. Lemons, limes, leaves, pizza, sunglasses, and cookies are the subjects of some of her work. Hugs and Bugs Club
Summer is here and school will be out very soon. Hugs and Bugs Club will keep the kids busy all summer long through sensory play, early socialization, and sign language to develop fine motor skills, manage stress, build confidence and promote independence. This local Hoboken organization teaches children to enjoy the process of art without worrying about how the final product comes out.
