Luckily for us, Hoboken + Jersey City are full of great bars and restaurants that feature awesome happy hour specials. Keep reading to find some great happy hour summer specials in Jersey City and Hoboken to enjoy the rest of the summer.

Jersey City
Barcade | 163 Newark Avenue
Barcade is a great spot to beat the heat. Every weeknight until 7PM, you can score $1 off beer, wine, and well. Those savings can be put straight into a game of Pac-Man, Tapper, or Galaga.
Dullboy | 364 Grove Street
The backyard at Dullboy feels like a tropical oasis. Tuesdays – Fridays from 4PM to 6PM, classical cocktails are just $10. This is the place to go for vacation vibes on a weeknight.
Frankie | 264 Grove Street
Frankie is a great option for a group or a happy hour date. There’s a huge outdoor seating area — which is mostly shaded for those sunny summer afternoons. Tuesday – Friday from 4PM to 6PM, beer and wine cost $7, cocktails are $10, and pitchers are $15. But the $12 flatbread + beer/wine special is hard to pass up, especially when the flatbread options are muhammara, labneh, and house-made hummus.
Franklin Social | 292 Barrow Street
Speaking of trivia, teams can also test their knowledge at Franklin Social on Tuesday nights starting at 6PM. That happens to line up nicely with the happy hour specials which run all day Monday and 4PM to 7PM Tuesday – Friday. There’s even a late-night happy hour on Tuesday – Thursdays from 10PM to close. Food specials — like $4 chicken lollipops — plus $10 cocktails and $8 wine pours are also available.
Harry’s Daughter | 4072 339 Communipaw Avenue
Harry’s Daughter is a Caribbean spot that basically has happy hour specials every weekday. This includes $8 Moscow mules, $8 piña coladas, $8 margaritas, and $10 select food specials, depending on the day. It’s open every day starting at 12PM.
Hudson Hound | 575 Hudson Street
For great food and drink specials, there’s Hudson Hound. On beautiful summer nights, the garage door-style wall opens up, plus there’s plenty of sidewalk seating. Happy hour takes place Tuesday – Friday from 4PM to 6PM. Want to stretch out the evening? You can stick around on Tuesdays for BINGO or Wednesdays for trivia.
Orale Mexican Kitchen | 341 Grove Street, Jersey City + 1426 Willow Avenue, Hoboken
Orale has a super aesthetically-pleasing and colorful interior, delicious food, and fun drinks. Every Thursday at Orale is Thirsty Thursdays, which means discounted drinks all night long. Tuesdays are, of course, Taco Tuesdays where all tacos are 50% off (though be warned, this is cash only). Orale also has a brunch happy hour from 12PM – 3PM on the weekends.
Smorgasbar | 3 2nd Street
This dog-friendly waterfront beer garden offers happy hour specials Monday – Thursday from 4PM to 7PM. While beers are only $5 and cans are $6, the best deal here are the cocktails. At half off the normal prices, mojitos and margaritas are only $7 during happy hour.
Wurstbar | 516 Jersey Avenue
Poutine, kielbasa, beer, and wine are all discounted during Wurstbar’s happy hour. The deals run Monday to Friday from 4PM to 7PM, so this is a great spot to add to your summer Friday plans.

Hoboken
Barbès | 1300 Park Avenue
This delicious French-Moroccan restaurant uptown has Happy Hour every weekday from 4PM – 6PM. During this window, you can get cocktails for $10, select wines for $7, and beer for only $4.
Belo Bar | 104 Hudson Street
On those brutal summer afternoons, sipping discounted drinks inside sounds fantastic. Belo Bar serves happy hour at the bar all day on Monday and Tuesday – Sunday from 4PM to 7PM. Certain craft cocktails are only $10, the wine of the day is $8, select draft beer is $5, and some cans are $4. Plus, wings, mozzarella sticks, oysters, and other small bites are also discounted.
East LA | 508 Washington Street
There’s almost nothing better than a frozen margarita on a hot summer day. East LA offers these refreshing cocktails for just $6 from 3PM to 6PM on Tuesdays – Fridays. Apps are also half-off during happy hour.
Grand Vin | 500 Grand Street
Grand Vin is a favorite with our readers, and with deals every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, it’s no surprise this is a popular post-work spot. Happy hour runs these three days from 5PM to 7PM with $5 draught beer and $7 wine on tap. Plus, wine flights are $12 on Tuesdays and oysters are just $1 on Thursdays.
House of ‘Que | 340 Sinatra Drive
It can start to feel like every happy hour kicks off at the same time, but they don’t all start early. At House of ‘Que, the late-night crowd can get deals from 10 PM to midnight on Thursday nights. These “Summer Thursday” specials include $4 Bud Light and Kona Big Wave drafts — plus $5 Texas teas, western mules, sangrias, and margaritas. Trivia takes place every Thursday at 8PM, so be sure to stick around after for the discounts.
Il Tavolo di Palmisano | 700 Clinton Street
This floral Italian spot may not have weekday happy hour, but it has some awesome weekend brunch happy hour-esque deals. Every Saturday from 11AM – 3PM, buckets of High Noons are available for $20. A bucket comes with 5 High Noons. There’s also a carafe of Prosecco with orange juice available for $20. Sundays are all about sangria — every Sunday from 11AM – close, there’s a pitcher of red or white sangria available for $20.
Pier 13 | 1301 Sinatra Drive N
Hoboken’s summer beer garden is one of the best places to sip drinks with a view. Every weeknight, there’s a different special to make those drinks a bit cheaper. Drafts are only $6 on Thursdays and on Fridays, and there’s a set happy hour from 4PM to 6PM with $7 margs, $8 frozen drinks, and $9 sangrias.
Pilsener Haus | 1422 Grand Street
The fun thing about Pilsener Haus, a wonderful uptown biergarten, is there are specials + deals all the time to keep you on your toes. For example, if you showed up in Mets gear to watch the Mets game on August 2nd, you got your first Pilsner free. The biergarten also recently featured $7 Pilsners, $7 High Noons, and $7 Green Tea specials. It opens up at 4PM on weekdays, and you can follow along on Instagram to see the next fun summer deal.
The Brass Rail | 135 Washington Street
We love The Brass Rail for a lot of reasons (hello, $28 brunch deals) — and its happy hour is certainly one of them. From Monday to Friday, you can get $5 house wines and $4 select beers from 3PM to 7PM. The outdoor seating is a lovely spot to sit in the early afternoon while sipping on some seriously affordable drinks.
The Stewed Cow | 400 Adams Street
Whether it’s Taco Tuesday or the lesser-known Whisky, Wings, and Wine Wednesday, The Stewed Cow offers specials to celebrate both days. Tuesday deals include discounted tacos, $4 house tequila shots, $5 house margs, and $5 Coronas. Wednesdays from 7PM to close means wings, merlot, pinot grigio, and the whiskey of the week are all available for just $5 each.

This gastropub has a happy hour from Monday – Wednesday all day (which is 3:30PM – 10PM) and on Thursday + Friday between 3:30PM and 6:30PM. Specials include $4 draft beers, $5 house wine, and $6 well drinks.
Wicked Wolf Tavern | 120 Sinatra Drive
This sports bar offers one of the best happy hours around. Every Monday – Friday from 4PM to 7PM, well mixed drinks, all draft beers, and wine are just $3 (yes, $3). Some appetizers are just $5 during happy hour, too. It’s a short walk from Wicked Wolf to Pier A Park where a few more Movies Under the Stars are scheduled for the summer
