Your girls here at HGHQ understand your woes. We’ve rounded up some of the best dairy-free treats found in Jersey City and we’ve laid them out here for you. Plan accordingly and enjoy!

Word Bookstore Cafe {123 Newark Ave, Jersey City}

In case you didn’t know, Word Bookstore {located in the heart of the pedestrian walk in downtown Jersey City} has a cafe loaded with non-dairy items. There is usually a vegan soup of the day along with grab n’ go vegan pastries and savory goods. Specifically, you will find Om Sweet Home parfaits made with the healthiest nondairy yogurt, Anita’s Creamline Yogurt. Bread + Spoon also sells many delicious non-dairy items like vegan pear scones, vegan donuts, chickpea salad and quinoa salad. Baonanas sells the non-dairy version of their famous banana pudding {both coconut and Oreo}, but they sell out fast.
