If there’s one thing we have no shortage of in the Mile Square, it’s coffee shops — but as coffee lovers here at The Hoboken Girl, we always welcome new spots entering the Hoboken coffee scene. A new café and CBD shop, called Café la Canna, recently put up signage at 159 14th Street in the former home of V Spot Nail Spa, which closed its doors in summer 2022. What We Know
Details are slim as of this writing, but Café la Canna recently put up signage at its forthcoming Hoboken location at 159 14th Street. The space was formerly home to V Spot Nail Spa, a nail salon that closed in August 2022.

The sign in the window reveals that the café will serve “exotic” coffee, tea, fresh juices + smoothies, snacks, and CBD products. Of course, we’ll update this piece as more details unfold surrounding an opening date + menu items.
Several new coffee shops have opened up shop in Hoboken in recent months. Kooche Kafe took over the former City of Saints space at 1320 Bloomfield Street back in July. Cafe Cartel, a Colombian coffee shop, opened at 1100 Adams Street this summer. Cafe Tati, a new venture from the Barbès and La Bohème teams, opened back in May. Modcup Coffee also opened its new Hoboken location at 211 4th Street in May. Gotan Cafe debuted its newest 770 Jackson Street location inside 7 Seventy House at the end of April. Cafexico is also making moves towards opening at 515 4th Street soon, though its original opening date was slated for this summer. Most recently, a new bakery called Ivory Baking Co. put up signage at 404 14th Street, right down the road from Café la Canna.
