Moonlight Spa, located at 722 Washington Street in Hoboken, is the epitome of a hidden gem. After a long week of work and other errands, there’s nothing like a no-frills full-body massage, and Moonlight Spa is just the ticket. A great massage for a great price = what the spa built its reputation on. Now, regulars of the spa and newbies alike will be thrilled to know that the owners have opened a second location in town at 106 5th Street called Alley Spa.
About Moonlight Spa
Moonlight Spa is known for its no-frills, casual, hole-in-the-wall vibes that locals have come to love — think towels for blankets and paper on the massage table — it gets the job seriously done. It won HG’s Best of Hoboken + Jersey City “Best Massage” in 2020 for good reason.

A 60-minute massage is $50 and a 90-minute massage is $70. Massage includes hot stone treatment but there are reflexology and foot massage options that are available to customers as well.
Another upside besides the great services and reasonable pricing is that there are 10-15 beds throughout the area, so no need to worry about snagging an appointment, even at the last minute.
Expanding in Hoboken
We just got word that Moonlight Spa has expanded its footprint in town with a second location on 5th Street. The new location is a walk-down studio in the middle of the block and the glass windows display the name “Alley Spa. A Peaceful Massage Place.”
The vibe of the spa is different from the original location on Washington Street. This location has a more modern, elevated aesthetic with wood floors and exposed brick throughout.
The pricing is different from Moonlight as well, but still affordable compared to other massage services in the area. Here, it is $35 for 30 minutes, $45 for 40 minutes, and $50 for 60 minutes. There are about six rooms inside.
